🎉 They say good things come in pairs - and what a remarkable month it has been this May! ⚡️Our eMobility platform, Voltality, announced its official entry into the 🇹🇭 Thai ecosystem together with 5 leading local partners to enable #eRoaming connectivity. Building on our foray into the 🇲🇾 Malaysian market and winning the PETRONAS #FutureTech Award late last year (https://lnkd.in/eD8sYfuf) , we're taking key steps to expand #VoltNet's coverage on our mission to provide seamless charging access across the region. 📰 We're also thrilled to join the #ForbesUnder30 Asia list for 2024 under #EnterpriseTechnology, together with our co-founders Benjamin Long and Kristoffer Jacek Soh Zhi Wei (https://lnkd.in/gxphseVn). From a simple goal of "Making Dumb Machines Smart" by supporting modern QR payments on legacy Vending Machines, to helping 🇸🇬 Singapore combat #COVID19, and expanding into eMobility today, we're excited to continue our journey of building better user experiences and better data interoperability through our unified IOT transaction platforms.
👋 Sawasdee Thailand! 🇹🇭 On the week of 13th May, we joined Enterprise Singapore and 14 other companies for an #ElectricMobility mission, where we marked a momentous milestone in launching #eRoaming connectivity for Thailand, announcing our partnership to enable roaming access between 5 different fleets and charging operators connected through the #VoltNet platform powered by Voltality (in alphabetical order): EVME PLUS Co., Ltd. - As the country's largest and fastest-growing EV digital platform, EVme is committed to promoting the widespread adoption of electric vehicles and fostering sustainable mobility, serving both retail and corporate customers. With features like direct charger location and connectivity via eRoaming, EVme can ensure an effortless EV journey for all users. Evolt Technology - Established in 2017, Evolt specialises in delivering EV charging solutions for both commercial and residential needs. With over 660 charge points managed across diverse locations including shopping malls, offices, hotels and hospitals, Evolt is fostering widespread EV adoption with convenient and efficient charging infrastructure and a robust operational team. Grab - As the largest ride-hailing and deliveries player in Southeast Asia, Grab has committed to their platform being Carbon Neutral by 2040. Supporting their drivers’ transition to low or zero emission modes of transport such as EVs is a key lever to achieving that goal. Grab is working with EV leasing, financing and distributor partners to make EVs more accessible for their driver-partners, and adding support for seamless charging once drivers make the switch is a crucial part of Grab’s electrification journey. SHARGE Management - As the exclusive charging provider for BYD and a leading charging operator in Thailand, Sharge aims to double its existing base of 1,000 charge points by the end of 2024, with installations at BYD showrooms and strategic locations including Bangchak and Susco stations, offering attractive nationwide coverage for driver and fleet partners. WHA Group - As the leading developer of fully integrated logistics, industrial estates, power utilities and digital solutions, WHA is building a complete EV ecosystem for commercial vehicles where real time charging connectivity through eRoaming forms an integral part of its platform to help optimise vehicle utilisation and downtime planning. With #ElectricVehicle adoption growing nearly 7 times between 2022 and 2023, Thailand is well-positioned to be the leader in electrification within the ASEAN region. In line with the Thai government’s 30@30 policy, these 5 companies are taking up the mantle to electrify their fleets and deploying electric charging infrastructure to support the rapid growth and demand for public charging. We are proud to play our part in helping accelerate ecosystem growth with our partners, and look forward to a cleaner, greener future together! #eRoaming #ElectricVehicleCharging #Thailand
