Yesterday I was giving at Digi & Game Center via great people of Peliosuuskunta Expa (Expa Game Business Co-operative) a talk about how to land into job in Game industry and main points were that network and make your things seen like porfolio, demos, hobby things and whatever open for people to see and to know what you have done. So to as an example and note to myself too to do in Practise What i Preached. Today i noticed that I have made / arranged with great people easily over 100 game industry related events and about 30 different kind of startup pitch events (game and non game) - and this do not mean how many i have been my self pitching / attending, that is own story So in very finnish standarts I can now say that maybe i can make events =D #gamedev #careers #events #ownership The Picture from one of the events, we been doing..

I had the privilege of participating in a session filled with insights and inspiration, thanks to Hack2Skill and our fantastic host, Avnish Singh... Throughout the session, we had the opportunity to engage with a panel of accomplished individuals, each sharing their unique experiences and lessons learned. 🏆 *Charmi Shah* and *Bhoomi Vaghasiya Gadhiya* - Code with Maps Hackathon Winners: Charmi and Bhoomi enlightened us with their strategies for effective team management and role allocation, as well as their emphasis on creating user-friendly interfaces. 🥇 *Mayank Rai* - Electhon 23 Hackathon Winner: Mayank's passion for technology and innovation was palpable as he discussed his journey, highlighting the power of leveraging technologies in creating innovative projects and the networking benefits of hackathons. 🌌 *Aaditya Rengarajan* - Space India Hackathon (IISF) winner: Shared that a Hackathon is all about knowing the skills of yourself and your team members. If you know that, then you can analyze whether that problem statement is a good fit for me, and proceed accordingly. 🔬 *Venugopal Rajagopalan* - ICC Next IN 1.0 Hackathon Winner: Venugopal walked us through his process of building a successful proof of concept, emphasizing the importance of thorough problem analysis and leveraging cutting-edge technologies like ARMehta. 🎉 *Mihir Mehta* - ICC Next IN 2.0 Hackathon Winner: Shared insights on how to craft a standout presentation for the jury: - Most important thing is confidence. - Checking infrastructure support which means checking your audio, video, etc. They seem minor but are very important. - Try to open with a very strong one-liner about your idea or concept. - We should never gatecrash our team members. - Presentation should be something that others love watching it, to make it interactive. - Also, your idea should be simple and straightforward for people to relate. 🔝 *Kaushik Roy* - CTO of Hack2Skill: Kaushik's wealth of experience, having won over 50 hackathons and mentored countless developers, underscored the importance of empowering developers and providing platforms for showcasing their talent. His goals were motivating and quite insightful. I love hackathons! A hackathon was the event that led me to join Kiuub. I started by working at hackathons and taking out the trash. Later, through Kiuub, I helped organize hackathons for major banks. I also participated in hackathons as a contestant, eventually winning some of them. Over time, I began mentoring and, at the latest one, even served as a judge. Take hackathons seriously and participate in them because they're not just for students. At hackathons, you gain networking opportunities, experience, friends, and possibly even a job or a project for your company. 🚀 Hackathon Experience with Upskill Mafia: A Journey of Growth and Collaboration on Xplore Stays and Wheels 🚀 Over the past few days, I had the incredible opportunity to participate in a hackathon organized by Upskill Mafia. It was an intense, exhilarating, and immensely rewarding experience that brought out the best in all of us. Our team was a diverse group of individuals, each bringing unique skills to the table. From brainstorming sessions to late-night coding marathons, we were united by a common goal: to create something innovative and impactful. The result? Xplore Stays and Wheels—a project we're all incredibly proud of.  Throughout the hackathon, I learned so much more than just technical skills. Here are a few key takeaways: Effective Communication: Clear and constant communication is vital in a fast-paced environment. Our team made sure that everyone was on the same page, which helped us avoid misunderstandings and stay aligned. Adaptability: Hackathons are unpredictable by nature. We faced several challenges, but our ability to adapt and pivot when necessary was crucial. It taught me the importance of staying flexible and open-minded. Problem-Solving: Tackling complex problems under time constraints pushed us to think creatively and work efficiently. It was a great exercise in critical thinking and quick decision-making. Resilience: There were moments of frustration, but we learned to push through them and keep going. This experience reinforced the value of perseverance and a positive mindset. I'm incredibly grateful to the Upskill Mafia for organizing this event and to my teammates for their hard work and dedication. I am excited to share my new achievement! 😍 -------------------------------------------------------------------- I'm thrilled to announce that I've just received my certificate for completing the Leap 2024 Hackathon by lablab.ai! It's been an incredible journey, completing the project within 2 days, and exploring innovative solutions. Although our code was robbed by one of the team members, he left the team afterward and used it individually. But we still managed to come up with something new in 2 days and complete the project within the duration with the help of my team members : - Muhammad Ashar(Team Leader) - Sourabh Singh - Homan Mirgolbabaee - Farheen Imam Learned: As A Team Leader, I learned a lot from this hackathon, like how to manage team, project management, Backend Working.
