Hat tip to Phil Hill for doing his homework and writing up what would actually be required to automate attendance tracking based on the new fed guidelines being discussed. The only feasible system to comply I see is to have teachers in the loop and, hopefully, prefill the students who are present and then require the instructor to confirm the absences in case a random system had info on the student. Cuz, you know, instructors needed one more thing to do other than teaching.

Safe Space to "Whistle while you work"... As climate, viral and global conflicts continue to create undue stress and covert sense across our learners it is time to change the term Whistleblower to Safety Advocate to allow all employees/stakeholders from frontline to boardroom to embrace a Safe Space (comforting advocacy) to express concerns. While Whistleblower once suggested a power position surfacing to protect a concern the term is no longer viable to our covertly afflicted generation(s). An AI search will indicate the problems associated with the term. "Ethicize" your Safety Advocacy and conduct some quick research across determinants in your class, course, social organization, relative governments or company. Should the term Whistle Blower be phased out and replaced with Safety Advocate?
