“Celebrating Milestones: Two Years at EKEDC’s Helm! 🎉 As I approach my two-year anniversary as MD/CEO of EKEDC on the 30th of March, 2024, I am filled with pride over our victories against all odds: achieving a record collection of N14.9 billion as of the 28th of March, 2024 and cutting ATC & C losses to 4%. Not to mention , our peak collection moment of N17.1 billion in a single month, achieved in January 2024, stands as a testament to our commitment and hard work. These milestones have significantly propelled our service and efficiency forward. Following our recent strategy session in February 2024, we set an ambitious target for ATC & C losses at 11.85%, yet we’ve surpassed expectations by achieving a remarkable single-digit rate of 4% just a month later. Our ICV program has been a catalyst for driving the UAE’s development, nurturing local businesses, and enhancing the UAE’s economic resilience. On behalf of the #IASC Champion for #PSEA and #SexualHarassment, #WFP Executive Director Cindy McCain, we are pleased to share that the call for nominations for the IASC PSEA #Women’s Advisory Group is now open.  As part of WFP’s Championship priority, the Advisory Group will support in ensuring that Championship outputs apply a #victim/#survivor centered approach and are relevant for the local context.   More information and links to the nomination form can be found in English here.https://https://lnkd.in/ddJRQ7gy Natalia Macdonald Veerle Triquet Omaima Mounir The #call for #nominations is open until 30 June at midnight (CET).   Central to the WFP PSEAH Championship in 2024 is the creation a global advisory group consisting of #women-led #NGOs and #civilsociety organizations located in high-risk countries prioritized by the IASC.    Objective: The Women’s Advisory Group will act as an independent source of expertise to advise the IASC PSEAH Championship and IASC members on the selection and implementation of PSEA priorities. The Advisory Group will ensure that the challenges affecting #communities in the highest risk countries are reflected throughout the Championship, and that #womenleaders from frontline #humanitarian and civil society organisations guide #prevention efforts and approaches for victim/survivor support.  Membership: There will be 12 members. Members of the Women’s Advisory Group will include representatives from women-led NGOs and civil society with #expertise and experience relevant to protection from #sexualexploitation and #abuse and with representation of geographic diversity from countries recognised as high-risk according to the IASC SEA Risk Overview Index.   Membership is done on a voluntary basis there is no direct remuneration, however the Advisory members will be provided with #capacitybuilding and #mentoring opportunities in recognition for their #participation and #engagement.  Duration of the Advisory Group: Whilst the Advisory Group is established in 2024, it is forseen that the group continues as a forum to support future IASC PSEA Champions in 2025.
