Understanding the Power of the Thermic Lance: Precision Cutting in Different Conditions In industries where precision, speed, and strength are crucial, the thermic lance has emerged as an indispensable tool. This high-temperature equipment, is capable of cutting through almost any material, including metals, non metals, concretes and rocks, by leveraging the power of oxygen combined with steel rods. Here's why the thermic lance is essential: · Versatility: Ideal for construction, demolition, and emergency rescue, where cutting through thick or unyielding materials is necessary. · Efficiency: Reaches temperatures over 3600°C, enabling fast and effective penetration of even the hardest surfaces. · Cost-Effectiveness: The thermic lance is a relatively low-cost solution for heavy-duty cutting, reducing equipment costs in industrial applications. The thermic lance exemplifies innovation that meets the demands of modern industries. Whether you're in heavy engineering, manufacturing, or specialized construction, it's a tool worth knowing about. #thermallance #thermic #lancing #demolition #scrapmetalrecycling

The cause of failure in most earth-retaining structures is excess water trapped behind the wall or structure. Good drainage removes the excess pore water pressure thereby increasing the stability of the structure. Where high flows are expected, as with this project, the best solution is a bidim® wrapped stone drain. Benefits: · High in-plane drainage capacity for rapid reduction of pore water pressure. · High elongation percentage allowing maximum conformability and stress relief. · High strength characteristics, which provides good resistance to puncture in the harsh installation conditions expected on projects. · The complex needle punched structure creates the ideal interface for the creation of reverse filter in soil adjacent to the geotextile. The geotextile provides for retention of fine particles, without reducing the permeability requirement of the drain. Enhance your slope drainage efforts with bidim®! 🔗 Explore more: Discover how bidim® can enhance your projects. Dagenham Green....... Great progress at our #dagenhamgreen regeneration site at the former #ford stamping tool works. #soilfix are carrying out major earthworks for Hill Partnerships to create a basal load transfer system on 3,000nr Controlled Modulus Columns (CMC) to support over 500metres of infrastructure corridor. Over 100,000m3 of soils are being excavated up to 6.0m depth, with layers of 'Abtex' high-strength geo-fabric reinforcement supplied by ABG Geosynthetics Ltd emplaced within a thick mattress of recycled aggregate. All cropped piles are being recycled for re-use, and excavated made-ground re-engineered to a suitable geotechnical specification through cement #stabilisation processes. Our specialist partners KKB Group and Reeds Construction & Engineering ltd are providing fantastic support to help #soilfix meet its challenging programme over the winter months. #groundengineering #infrastructure #getsoilfixed
