Impostor syndrome. Half of us have experienced this at some time or another, the feeling that you don't belong, that you're a fraud. Yet despite how widespread it is, most of us never talk about it, and most businesses certainly do nothing about it. Why should that be the case? Make your employees feel safe and confident by training and mentoring them. It's the best way to kick impostor syndrome to the curb: https://bit.ly/47YOvzT #ImpostorSyndrome #HR #Recruitment #MentalHealth

Beyond structural issues such as pay, burnout is the leading reason for care workers to leave the job they previously enjoyed. The good news is that it is possible to combat burnout – if you can identify the signs early enough 🙏 In HR workshops, we sometimes hear from care managers and care workers alike that they experience a lot of negativity at the workplace and that it brings the overall mood down 😩 Small signs such as impatience, snappiness, or lack of optimism are all red flags for impending burnout. We may be tempted to brush off these red flags as "just a bad day", but when they come up frequently, there might actually be something else going on 🧐 Have you noticed any of these signs at work lately? #WhyWeCare #Tresacare #WorkforceTransformation #CareWorkerWellbeing #YouAreTheChange #FightBurnout

Recent research by #HR, #payroll, and #finance specialist MHR reveals a concerning trend: over half (55%) of UK employees feel they have no one to turn to at work when experiencing #burnout. Conducted for Mental Health Awareness Week, the study highlights a critical issue—70% of employees reported symptoms of burnout in the past year, yet support mechanisms seem lacking. HR professionals have a crucial role in addressing these issues, but must also safeguard their own wellbeing. With Gen Z and Millennials, who are most susceptible to burn out, set to comprise 58% of the global workforce by 2030, the urgency for effective mental health support is undeniable. #MentalHealth #EmployeeWellbeing #WorkplaceWellness #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek

https://lnkd.in/gwk7_cHv What a great thought-provoking piece. Some things that stood out to me: - Burntout spreads - You might be paying for benefits your team doesn't even know about - Employees see what you do, not what you "say" What I'm taking away: - Save employees before they burnout by making sure they're connected, supported and heard - Overeducate on the benefits we offer - Don't just have "fluff" values as a company, make sure they're things that the leadership team actually does What are your takeaways? #hr #burnout #employeeburnout #companyculture #employeeengagement
