It's hard to go wrong with a nice, solid black in your branding. However, much with pure white, a total black can lead to eye strain if not utilized appropriately. If you're looking to avoid this, consider looking into using a darker gray color with a design enhancing undertone. Doing so can help your brand look more cohesive and set it apart from the competition! 🏴 #lakehousestudios #needacreativespark #design #DesignServices #cleanandclear #KeepItSimple #simple #BLACK #blackcolor #color #colorswatches #swatch #pickyourcolor #colors #SleekDesign #sleek #contrast #complimentary #Branding #brand #brandidentity #BrandNew #look #BrandNewLook #style

Colour Psychology: Black 🖤 Just like the colour black, your personal brand can have a powerful impact on your business. A strong personal brand, like a well-tailored black suit, can project sophistication, authority, and confidence, attracting high-value clients. But neglecting your brand, similar to wearing black all the time, can come across as aloof, unapproachable, or even depressing. The key is to find the balance ⚖️ Your brand should embody the positive aspects of black: → power → sophistication → a touch of mystery However, it should also showcase your warmth, approachability, and the positive impact you bring to your clients' lives. Whether used as a dominant colour or an accent, black can create a sense of luxury and exclusivity. Its associations with strength and elegance make it a popular choice in various fields, from fashion to interior design. How are you using black in your branding? Helping you turn your passion project into a full time job, boosting your confidence + credibility | Brand + Web Designer
“Colour can increase your brands recognition by up to 80%.” Those are Pantone words - not mine. 😁 They’re probs not miles off though. Whilst walking around Paris at the weekend, admiring a gazillion of gorgeous restaurant + shop signs, I thought to myself: “How dull would it be if they’d all use the same colours and fonts? Or no colour at all?!” o.O For me it’s pretty obvious that colour plays a humongous part in your brand and how peeps perceive it. It can help you: ✨ stick out from the crowd, making people stop the scroll + catch your message. ✨ convey a feeling that’s aligned to your values, making the right peeps relate + connect with you. ✨ be recognisable, making people remember you which, makes them more likely to engange with you. Not sure how to pick the right colours for your business? Keep an eye out for my next post where I’ll give you some tips + tricks on how to curate a gorgeous palette. 👀 #branddesign #branding #smallbusiness PS: Pantone is a biiiig company whose world revolves around colour. Literally. They define things like “Colour of the Year". It's “Peach Fuzz” this year in case you wondered. 🍑🤓
