The winter’s transition period in soccer, shouldn’t be interpreted as a time to do what has not been done during season. Rather, represents an opportunity to be able to give consistency to the work done previously. In strength training, we can think to place the main focus on volume of Max Strength/Strength Speed and Plyometric drills; in order to avoid the decay of neuromuscolar parameters, the programs should follow a frequency of 2 sessions per week. Furthermore, besides consider this small period as an opportunity to improve the “performance parameters” (such as strenght/speed/endurance), we should also pay attention to restore an adequate strength profile limiting muscle’s imbalances. #soccer #training #strengthtraining #strengthandconditioning #preparazioneatletica #plyometrics
