Aside from photographing newborns, dropping off checks at RMHC is our favorite thing to do ❤️ Iowa Area Manager Jenn and photographer Tessa dropped off a donation check at the Ronald McDonald House in Des Moines and received a tour from director Brenda Miller. The Ronald Mcdonald House of Des Moines serves families all over the state, but is specifically located next to IMMC, where the Blank Children's hospital is one of the leading NICU's in the state of Iowa. . . . . . #RMHC #bellababy #bellababyRMHC

WHY IS THE CENOTAPH'S AMISH COOLING CRADLE SO IMPORTANT FOR ALL HOSPITALS TO HAVE ON HAND FOR INFANT LOSS ANSWER: The Cenotaph Amish Cooling Cradle holds vital importance for hospitals dealing with infant loss due to several key reasons: 1. Body Preservation: The cradle is designed to slow down natural changes in the deceased infant's body, allowing for extended viewing periods by grieving parents, facilitating the mourning process. 2. Empathy and Support: By providing a means for parents to keep the deceased baby in the mother's room, the cradle supports families in coping with their loss and fosters a compassionate environment 3. Extended Time with the Baby: The cradle allows parents to spend more time with their child, fostering a deeper connection and aiding in the grieving process. 4. Educational Outreach: Cenotaph Products LLC actively engages with hospitals to discuss the importance of these cradles, aiming to persuade and educate healthcare facilities on their significance for families experiencing baby loss. 5. Fundraising for Donations: Families can set up fundraising pages to donate Cenotaph Amish Cooling Cradles in honor of their loved ones, contributing to the availability of these cradles in hospitals. 🌟Help Save the Sight of Underprivileged Babies in Rural Vietnam!🌟 Imagine being a parent in rural Vietnam, unable to afford the costly and lengthy journey to urban centers where specialized medical care is available. Many families face this reality, leaving their premature infants at risk of blindness due to Retinopathy of Prematurity (ROP), a condition that can be prevented with early detection and treatment. Your donations will enable us to purchase two essential digital retinal cameras, allowing us to screen and treat these vulnerable infants right where they live. By specifying “ROP CAMERA DONATION,” you ensure your support goes directly to this life-saving cause. Together, we can give these tiny fighters a brighter, clearer future. Your generosity can make a real difference. 💖 Donate now and be the light in their darkness. https://lnkd.in/gHDVaaZP #SaveVision #UnderprivilegedBabies #RuralVietnam #Charity #DonateNow #ROPproject #GiveSight

Have you ever found yourself taking your prenatal classes for granted? Pre-natal and post-partum education is more accessible in some communities. However, not everyone has the time or resources to seek out this information. Enter the Barakat Bundle wall calendar. Our wall calendar includes important, pictographic health education that enables families to understand basic first aid, grain breastfeeding information, and look for danger signs in mothers and newborns. It's a simple but powerful intervention that is commonly understood and is accessible to the families we serve. Help more families get essential health and education information to help their newborns have a healthier first year. Donate to bit.ly/give_barakat #ittakesavillage #fundraiser #nonprofit #donate

Cerebal Palsy is the most common life long physical disability in the world. 75% experience chronic pain. 33% can’t walk. 33% have hip displacement 25% can’t verbally communicate. 6% are tube-fed. For Michelle de Waal Mercedes Adams Emma Quinn and I, STEPtember is as much about fundraising and spreading awareness as much as it’s about getting our steps in. Your support via donation or post interaction would mean the world so we can make the most of this incredible initiative by The Cerebal Palsy Alliance 💕 https://lnkd.in/g-wYkkbV

🚨 Trigger warning: child loss 🚨 My wife Jayne and I are extremely proud of the money we have raised in our son Joe's name since 2019. We are almost upto $400k AUD in total across several events from 5-a-side football (soccer) competitions, to Bunnings sausage sizzles, to charity walks, to marathons and of course the 24 hour spinathon events. Not only have these fundraising events raised money but they've also raised much needed awareness of the desperate need for funding for Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICU) across Australia. Did you know that upto 80% of funding for NICU equipment comes from charity donations! 🤯 Below is the promotional video for the 2nd 24 hour spinathon that we held in late 2022. Here we talked through what the $185K AUD raised in the 2019 event was spent on- namely a humidicrib and a portable Xray machine for the NICU. We also discussed what the funds raised in the 2022 event will be spent on- namely several research projects that aim to help future premature babies and their families. Look for future Linkedin posts for some exciting updates on this. Although we are proud of what we've achieved in Joe's memory so far, we know that there is so much more work to be done and as such we will continue to build on our son's legacy. If the money raised can prevent just one family having to go through the devastation of losing a child in future then all the time, effort and emotional toll that Jayne and I have gone through to raise it will be more than worth it. #childloss #grief #fundraising #workplacewellbeing

Did You Know Our Struggle? As a 501c3 non-profit, our mission and goal is to help those in need for free, but we can’t do this without paying for resources, fundraising, and having consistent volunteers. We have a mom we’ve spoken about recently who has gone through tragedy after tragedy, and we need more resources to help her. To help any mom through a 9-month pregnancy, through early postpartum, through raising a newborn and ensuring she has diapers, wipes, breastfeeding support, mental health support, and above all, a safe place to sleep at night. Donations mean stability for us, and for the mother, we can help. We want to thank our sponsors and collective members for their consistent donations and to each of you who have made one-time, two-time, or three-time donations. This truly helps us survive as a non-profit to help parents in need in the Charlotte area. We need to help more— imagine if every one of our followers donated a dollar. That would be over $2,500 that would go towards housing, feeding support, and other necessary resources. Click the link in our bio to act now. #charlottemoms #cltmoms #donationsneeded #nonprofit #parentresources #womeninbusiness
