What were the top 10 most viewed esports tournaments of 2023? By quite a margin, League of Legends World Championships in Korea took the prize. 9 out of 10 tournaments, are based around the MOBA style of League of Legends, and only 1 was another - the last CS:GO Major ever, hosted by BLAST in Paris. But that's not even the wildest part; Half the tournaments were played on Mobile - not PC or Console. You don't see that on the screens, streams, or TV - but being mobile first makes a dramatic difference to the barrier of entry of new players and casual fans. So, if there's one advice I can give in 2024 surrounding esports; don't sleep for a second on the growth of Mobile Esports. Blink and you miss it. #esports #gaming #sports #mobile

Last year, the official stream had a peak on Day 3 with 96,366 viewers and an average of 82,522. A unique feature this year was the significant number of viewers tuning in from within Fortnite itself, via the Legends Landing map. On Day 1, the peak reached 87,899 people, with an average of 46,298. On Day 2, the peak was 46,466, averaging 26,196. The growth this year has been tremendous, thanks to the incredible work behind the scenes. Production quality improved significantly from last year, GG to BLAST, and the casters, who often don’t get enough recognition, made every moment magical.
