The top jobs employees are quitting are predominantly those in the healthcare and technology sector, according to Payscale’s 2023 End-of-Year Job Market Report. According to the report, the most-quit jobs “represent occupations where employees are stressed, under-challenged, burned out, or unhappy with their pay and benefits compared to what they think they can get elsewhere.” Another big factor causing dissatisfaction is a lack of work-life balance. When jobs transitioned from remote to in-office last year, some employees called it quits. (via GOBankingRates) #jobtrends #employmentnews #quitting

https://lnkd.in/ehz7GRCg? Perhaps not the most positive recruitment outcome I have read, however we must remember we are in the summer months where the recruitment market naturally slows. September should give us a much strong picture of what the next quarter ahead will look like. On a positive salaries seem to be holding, if not increasing. #recruitment #marketrends #jobs

Having been in HR for almost 2 years, I've got some idea why employees are leaving. Sorted out 6 different service periods and 6 different reasons for quitting! 🚶♀️𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧 𝟏 𝐌𝐎𝐍𝐓𝐇 Reason: HR and the team 1. Confusion about the company's training process. 2. Not able to communicate with colleagues/team. 3. You are left to struggle on your own after joining the company. 4. Feel insecure about the management of the company. 5. Not being developed by the company for new employees. 🚶♀️𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧 𝟑 𝐌𝐎𝐍𝐓𝐇𝐒 After 3 months in the job, the employee finds that there is a disagreement with his supervisor's values, management style, work objectives, and work style. 🚶♀️𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧 𝟔 𝐌𝐎𝐍𝐓𝐇𝐒 Reason: Company's culture The company can't provides equal treatment of employees, learning opportunities, so that your dreams and the company's goals combined in order to achieve a win-win situation for personal development and corporate development. 🚶♀️𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧 𝟏 𝐘𝐄𝐀𝐑 Reason: Salary After a year of doing the job, the employee already has contributions, networks, and resources and wants to consider whether the pay is now equal to what is paid. Still talking about money and not heart for the company. 🚶♀️𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧 𝟑 𝐘𝐄𝐀𝐑𝐒 Reason: Development After 3 years, with a certain level of experience, seniority, ability, and salary, you will consider whether there is still potential for you to develop in this company, whether it will help you in your future development, and whether there are better platforms and opportunities outside. 🚶♀️𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧 𝟔 𝐘𝐄𝐀𝐑𝐒 To some extent an old employee with more experience and networks is satisfied with their current position and income unless a better offer is made, it is riskier to quit on your own. A great rapport is good for building relationship with friends and client, a positive attitude can make a difference.
Hi connection, I found a great article, it is quite accurate and speaks the truth. In my opinion a company ( SME/BPO) should provide a learning and detailed OTJ ( on the job training ) to the employee. I also conclude 3 points why employees left 1) Cultural Shock- some company requires employees to drink beer , some company is giving training online based from overseas. I understand now it is promoting AI . 2) Environment - a toxic environment may be one issue , someone in the company likes to spread a negative vibe / gossiping others. 3) KPI which is hard to archive - I studied an article about a scholar article about the UAT/TAM model . the model revealed to me that a normal person need time to adapt to the new system. just like the time when Malaysia is implementing Touch & go apps most of the citizen can't accept, now most of the citizen is used to it. Some companies set very high standards KPI , a new graduate will lack confidence to archive. Some even train a short period and expect employees to pick up all the new systems in shot period .
