It’s Opening Day of The Great NYS Fair! 🎡Local PR pros know what that means… If your news isn’t Fair-related, don’t bother pitching it for the next 2 weeks 😆 With our team’s focus on CNY, we typically advise our clients to have low expectations during this time for media coverage of anything happening outside of The Fair. But if your organization IS doing something at The Fair, that’s another story! 🎥🎤📺📰 We’re excited for the fair-related stories we’re pitching to local media while reporters and our clients are on-site at the Fairgrounds. And for our clients who aren’t doing anything at The Fair this year, we’re in fall planning mode! This also means some of our team will get to spend time working on-site at The Fair over the next two weeks 😉 Gotta love those work perks! Planning event experiences has always been my jam, but there is NO event quite like the Minnesota State Fair. This document captures it all: the attention to detail, the reality of giant masses of people gathering in one place, and the pure joy when it all goes to plan!

🌟 Three years ago, I made a bold decision – one that has reshaped the future of Net Visibility. 🌟 I chose to invest in young people. Our goal was simple but ambitious: find the brightest talent, train them the Net Vis way, and give them the kind of responsibility they wouldn’t easily get elsewhere. We built on years of experience working with young talent during A-Level and university holidays, but this time, we were aiming higher. We embarked on a degree apprenticeship programme, offering the right candidates the opportunity to gain a BSc in Leadership and Business Management whilst learning Digital Marketing at Net Visibility. Alan Hansen famously said, "You don't win anything with young people." How wrong he was! We’ve found the perfect blend of "grey hair and young flair," and it’s been a massive success. Our team is a mix of experienced industry experts (also known as the ‘old gits’ who were in marketing long before Google, Facebook, and Snapchat even existed) and the raw, infectious enthusiasm of young talent. Yes, some days it feels like running a kindergarten, but the rewards are there for all to see. Actually there is an argument that the biggest kid in the team is yours truly! This week, we proudly welcomed Millie to the team and sent Kofi off for a well-deserved holiday in Australia. Don’t worry – Tigger will be back soon, fully recharged! If you're thinking about growing your business, I highly recommend considering degree apprenticeships. It’s not without its challenges – you need to ensure everything is documented and not just stored in someone’s head – but the benefits are huge. We’ve managed large-scale Google and Facebook advertising campaigns, thanks to this powerful combination of fresh energy and seasoned wisdom.
