The answer to the question from Part 1 that was re-posed in Part 2 yesterday is: 💲 1.5-2X the salary - non-revenue generating employee 💲 2-3X the salary - revenue generating employee You may ask, why the difference? Well, taking into account lost productivity and revenue, plus the runway to ramp up a new employee - vastly increases the price of replacing a revenue generating employee. That's not to say the price of replacing a non-revenue generating employee is cheap - because clearly that's not true. Where this really becomes a problem for smaller businesses - is when the replacing happens within 6 months of the hire of the person you're now looking to replace.
