That’s why we were thrilled to host our "Welcome on Board" event last week—an intense learning programme where newcomers from all over the world are invited to experience first-hand the diversity and collaborative spirit and build meaningful connections. Over the course of the week, our new colleagues had the opportunity to visit our production sites and offices in Germany and Belgium, meet colleagues from different departments, and get a closer look at how we work together to make a difference. Today marks #WorldFoodDay! This year it is celebrated under the slogan “Right to foods for a better life and a better future”, highlighting the importance of access to healthy diets across the globe. Unhealthy diets are the main cause of all forms of malnutrition, including undernutrition and obesity. For instance, worldwide, around 2.5 billion adults and 37 million children under the age of five are now overweight, a risk factor for many diseases. At BENEO, our goal is to connect nutrition and health by offering science-backed, plant-based ingredients with added value. Be it for weight management, digestive health, heart health or blood sugar management. Thanks to our teams at the BENEO-Institute and the BENEO-Technology Center, we continuously strive to connect health with good taste and texture.
