💧 Revolutionizing Motorsport Facilities: The Power of Waterless Urinals 🌍 As motorsport organisations across the UK strive to reduce their environmental impact, upgrading facilities is an often-overlooked opportunity to make a difference. Installing waterless urinals is a simple yet powerful change that brings significant benefits: 🌱 Environmental Impact Traditional urinals can use up to 150,000 litre's of water per year—per unit! By switching to waterless options, motorsport venues can conserve this precious resource, reducing their carbon footprint and contributing to a more sustainable future for our sport. 💷 Cost Savings Waterless urinals eliminate the need for constant flushing, slashing water bills by thousands of pounds annually. For example, a facility with 10 urinals could save over £20,000 in water costs every year. 🏁 Sustainability in Motorsport Sustainability is becoming an essential focus for motorsport venues, teams, and fans alike. Adopting waterless urinals not only aligns with environmental goals but also demonstrates leadership in creating a greener future for the industry. By prioritizing innovations like these, we can ensure motorsport remains a thrilling, forward-thinking space for generations to come. What steps is your venue taking to go green? Let’s share ideas and build a more sustainable motorsport community. 🌿 #Sustainability #Motorsport #GreenInnovation #WaterConservation #EnvironmentalImpact

Great to see, protecting our environment and biodiversity is so important.
We have launched our Sustainable Rally Charter which provides a set of sustainable behaviours for clubs to work together with Motorsport UK, venues, and spectators, to pledge to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, protect biodiversity, and work with local communities to run events, that ensure they will go on for years to come. Upon signing the charter, clubs will complete an environment impact assessment to measure the footprint of an event, through inputting their own data into Motorsport UK’s Carbon Calculator. Rally clubs will then be able to access a number of tools and resources as they work towards implementing sustainable objectives and goals. Short-cycling and your compressor suffering from too many START/STOPS in a short period of time are common issues we find in both commercial and industrial #refrigeration systems, but they often go unnoticed. Many times, the issues aren't having a drastic effect on space temperatures in the moment, but it's causing a lot of unnecessary wear and tear on the system. Not to mention the amount of energy it wastes working so hard. Learn more about short cycling and how NRM's monitoring tools can help you correct the issue before it's too late. #rethinkrefrigeration #refrigerationcontrolsandmonitoring #energyefficiency #foodsafety
