Meet Our Engineers: David Smith David has 10+ years experience in structural engineering design and analysis and has been part of the Bennett & Pless Team since 2021. During his career, he has provided engineering and management for both public and private projects with many different construction types including wood, masonry, steel, cold form steel, and concrete. As part of our Chattanooga Department, his project focus has been vast, from small home remodels to hotels, schools, warehouses, etc. one of which received a Top Award for Excellence in Concrete in the state of Washington for Concrete Tilt-Up Buildings.
