OPEN INVITATION to ALL 2024 Award Winners from ANY Association/Group! If you competed in any award program this year from any group here is an invitation to you. This is our 20th year running the only truly global awards program for the contact center and CX industry. We have a reputation built on INTEGRITY, TRANSPARENCY and ZERO BIAS - yes we don't allow sponsors to compete (totally unfair to everyone). - we don't publicise judges before judging has been done (too easy for some to be influenced). - we do things very differently and this leads to a fair, unbiased awards program that enhances our industry and those participating. We set many standards that others copy but we believe there is no other award program with so much integrity and we invite you to find out for yourself. Participate in the 2025 awards which are NOW OPEN and I will personally guarantee to refund your entry fees if you feel at the end of the process its not fair, unbiased and you don't benefit from the learning you will get from other entrants, networking and benchmarking opportunities to enhance your personal career and your company performance. We know we have probably the fairest award program in the World - that’s why every year we attract 80 nations best to compete and more and more call these the ultimate awards - like the Olympics of the Contact Center World. If you want to set up a call to discuss this and our awards, please use this link https://lnkd.in/gH42aNGT So, if you read this and you compete in other awards, consider the change - awards NOW OPEN at https://lnkd.in/gNCJ6EER Good luck

You win some, you lose some. Everybody who plays games knows that. Admittedly, we tend to quote this phrase more often after a loss. But guess what? ***Wise Guys Events won the Bernie DeKoven Big Fun Award*** If you're not familiar with Bernie - friends called him Blue - and his work, you are in for a real treat. Bernie was an influential game designer, scholar, and author in the 20th century (ha). He was instrumental in the design of many games and activities you know, even if you aren't otherwise familiar with this field. Ever heard of Ultimate Frisbee? The parachute game from elementary school P.E.? If you answered yes, you know Bernie's legacy. Before his death, Bernie worked in partnership with IndieCade, the International Festival of Independent Games, to create an award in his name to support and promote the longevity of his life's work: silly monkey business. And this year, IndieCade adjudicators honored Wise Guys Events by awarding unto us the Bernie DeKoven Big Fun Award. Head Honcho Myles Nye will be present in LA to accept the award, to participate in IndieCade Night Games, and to join a Creators' Retreat. If you're in downtown LA on Friday or Saturday night, stop by to say hello. And join in the fun! It's what Bernie would have done.
Big Fun! Yes! It's @wiseguysevents winning our Bernie DeKoven Big Fun award!

Have you ever wondered what you should say if you have been selected to receive an award, the experts say the following: 1. Express your gratitude and be genuine. Speak from the heart and remember to acknowledge the sponsoring organization as well as any other nominees. 2. Demonstrate why you are deserving of the honor. Keep the self-deprecation to a minimum; don't make them regret selecting you over others. 3. Recognize those who helped you achieve success. Use your moment in the spotlight to pay it forward. Personalize your speech with anecdotes. This is still a speech, after all, so make it memorable and meaningful. 4. Respect the audience and the clock. Not every awards ceremony has an orchestra to play you off the stage when you overstay your welcome.

Still Thinking of Entering? There's Still Time! There is still plenty of time to submit a knockout entry into the 2024 Event Awards. Past entrants have reported needing only a couple of hours to pull together their entry...don't forget - you've already done all the thinking, designed and delivered the event or achievement - all you have to do is put it into words and tell us about it! With the new, simplified entry form, with a maximum of 2,600 words, it's easier than ever to enter. Tell the Judges about you event or achievement, what did you achieve, what were the complexities, how was it creative and an asset to the industry, what were your challenges? If you start today, that's only 434 words a day to get to the finish line! https://lnkd.in/g8P-s-NG

Medals don’t matter much in the grand scheme of things. Trophies gather dust, certificates lose their shine, and yet, many invest their energy solely in chasing accolades. Why? The truth is, unless your work is driven by passion and a vision for the future, awards lack lasting significance—they’re merely symbols. That said, awards have their place if they genuinely align with your goals. But even if you don’t win, trust that what you’re meant for will come to you in its own time. True impact lies in creating something meaningful and enduring. Here’s what I’ve come to understand: Work for the love of the craft. Strive for excellence, not external validation. Build with the future in mind, not just for applause. When you do this, recognition will follow naturally—not as a goal, but as a consequence of your dedication.#dedication #workhard #consistency
