How yoga is conventionally taught, is as a mind-body exercise to get stronger or more flexible. To make yoga more challenging, it is common to practise yoga as a flow - in other words, an uninterrupted sequence of different poses (or asanas). This is not the only way to practise yoga though. Many asanas in yoga are the basis of traditional Asian dance movements with Indian influence.
