Excellence is the Standard.
Midweek Motivation: MCS Summer Kick-off Continues! 💪 Halfway through our Summer Kick-off week, and the energy is still high! Our team continued to visit various job sites, bringing more Publix subs, Gatorades, and Red Bulls to keep our field workers refreshed and motivated. It’s inspiring to see the commitment and hard work of our electricians and low voltage technicians. A big shoutout to our People Operations team for making these visits possible. Keep up the great work, everyone! And thank you to Isadore Wood with HORUS Construction Services for allowing us to visit! #Motivation #Electricians #LowVoltageTechnicians #SummerKickOff #Appreciation P.S. Shout out to our wonderful Photographer Baron Gaines who artfully cut off Miranda Juerke and the rest of the team in this photo...

some pictures from the summer annual employee appreciation event Inland Empire Utilities Agency with the E&I south team. The unity and camaraderie within this group not only allows us to have fun doing our day to day tasks, but it promotes a high morale and a push to want to do better and be a functioning part of a smooth running system. People often ask us, "Why do you guys always look like you are having so much fun?" The answer: BECAUSE WE ARE. When you care for others, team strength comes naturally and easily. Stive for this kind of environment or better, but remember it takes a lot of effort to be able to do this. #electrical #instrumentation #maintenance #boyswillbeboys #inlandempire #inlandempireutilitiesagency #summer2024 #grateful #picnic #fun #wastewater #water #waterindustry #professionals #effort #smiles #postivieenergy #exciting #fun

Founder/ GM @ Complete Solids Control | Solids Control Expert | Reducing Days On Well | Driving Down Drilling Cost
Getting It Out the Mud—Literally 🛠️💪🏾 This photo takes me back to a job in Pennsylvania, 7.5 years ago on a contract basis, rigging down the entire backyard by myself. Draining pumps, covered in mud, handling every piece of equipment like I’ve done since day one. This is what separates me from a lot of others in my space—I’m not just the founder or owner, I was in the trenches, doing the work. Most can’t say their owner has been elbow-deep in the mud, rigging down and running jobs solo. But I’ve been there, working our first job as #CSC for 6 months straight to get things off the ground. That’s why I’m the trusted expert—because I’ve lived it, breathed it, and built it from the mud up. I’m not saying this to brag. It’s more about showing what dedication looks like when you truly believe in what you’re building. I was there every step of the way, making sure every detail was handled right, learning and improving with every challenge. And honestly, that’s how you earn trust—not just from clients, but from your team and yourself. It’s easy to talk about the work when you’ve done it with your own two hands. #EfficientDrilling #FluidManagement #SolidsControlSolutions

Linemen face a myriad of hazards while working on poles, making their occupation one of the most dangerous in the construction industry. 🎯 Effective communication is absolutely critical during a bucket truck rescue, especially when there's a fire involved. Here's why: 👉🏽 Coordination: Clear and concise communication ensures that everyone on the team is aware of their roles and responsibilities. This coordination is essential for a successful rescue. 👉🏽 Safety: Miscommunication can lead to dangerous situations. By communicating clearly, the team can avoid accidents and ensure the safety of everyone involved. 👉🏽 Morale: Good communication can help boost morale and reduce stress. When the team feels connected and informed, they are more likely to remain calm and focused. 🎯 Key communication strategies during a rescue: ✅ Use clear and concise language: Avoid jargon or technical terms that might confuse others. ✅ Be specific: Provide details about the situation, such as the location of the fire, the condition of the injured lineman, and any potential hazards. ✅ Listen actively: Pay attention to what others are saying and ask clarifying questions if needed. ✅ Use visual cues: If possible, use gestures or point to indicate the location of the fire or the injured lineman. ✅ Maintain a calm demeanor: Your voice and tone can have a significant impact on the team's morale. Try to remain calm and reassuring. By following these communication strategies, the team can work together effectively to rescue their fellow lineman and minimize risks. 🚨 Emergency Response training content: https://lnkd.in/gMPBPtau ⚡️ Arc Flash / NFPA® 70E® training content: https://lnkd.in/gi5N8dtm 🎉 A link to download a complimentary topical overview microlearning mp4 can be found in the comments! 📹 credit: Lineroots Supply (TikTok) #buckettruckrescue #lineman #highvoltage #firerescue #emergencyresponse

The tragic loss of Wilson Price in Wellington is a somber reminder of the inherent risks faced by linemen and other workers in the electric power industry. Safety is always the top priority, and incidents like this highlight the importance of rigorous training for newer, less experienced workers and adherence to safety regulations and policies. OSHA’s guidelines for overhead line work provide essential safety standards that can help prevent accidents like these. https://lnkd.in/gEKNtX6z
🔴City of Wellington Mourns Apprentice Lineman🟡 The City of Wellington, Kansas, has identified Wilson Price, a 20-year-old apprentice lineman, as the worker who tragically lost his life in an accident at the city’s power plant substation. Price, who had been part of the Electric Distribution Department since January 2024, was performing maintenance when he came into contact with energized equipment. His colleagues remember him for his positive attitude and enthusiasm on the job. The entire community mourns the loss of such a promising young talent. We at Z-TEX Safety suggest our readers analyze these reports to strengthen organizational safety discipline and cultivate a robust safety culture. Back in the day, being a plumber, electrician, or mechanic wasn't seen as glamorous. Today, social media is changing that narrative. Gen Z is using platforms like Instagram and TikTok to highlight #bluecollar careers, making these paths appealing. Having recruited for many years, I've seen the evolution of work culture firsthand. 𝐁𝐥𝐮𝐞-𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐫 𝐣𝐨𝐛𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐠𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐞. These roles can be financially rewarding without hefty educational investments. It’s a win for those who value skill and hard work. Your thoughts on this shift? #skilledtrades #bluecollarpride #socialmediaimpact #careerintrades #bestadvice
