Just Completed My Final Paper! 📚 Friday marked the end of an incredible chapter in my life as I submitted my last paper as an economics and statistics student ✨ .The journey has been nothing short of transformative, shaping me into the person I am today📈. Module 2 exam was a blast!!! Once you get a mail on Monday from Sarah @ Quantic School of Business and Technology, you must read it slowly and carefully. MBA program information newsflash about to pop. As I read the last line of the mail, I knew the week was going to be many shades of wild😅😂 Markets and Microeconomics exams week?! How?! I knew I had slipped off my reading schedule due to another major project I was involved in over the past 6 weeks. I didn't realize it was this bad. Now I had to complete 2 lecture series to even meet up for the exam. For someone famed as "thriving best under pressure", even I felt pressured (and honestly stressed!) As I worked out the best strategy for the week, I drew additional inspiration from my coursework materials in health economics at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). I had taken the course about 2 years earlier when it did not appear "necessary" but I knew it was part of the puzzle I am building. It was one of the most expensive short courses I had invested in at that time with many asking me "what's the endgame?" Big lesson here is the value of your "war chest". One wise man once said to me "it is better to have a skill/information you may not appear to need than to need a skill/information you don't have" Keep building your chest even when it seems tough. The best time to prepare for war, they say, is in the time of peace. Many thanks to Dr. Akin-Olusoji Akinyele FIMC, CMC.
