As part of MetLife's commitment to giving back and year-round culture of volunteering, MetLife employees volunteer to serve their communities. This is especially true during the annual Volunteering with Purpose campaign in September. Two MetLife colleagues, Maria Malandra and Gabriele Faccini recently had a heartwarming volunteer experience by donating their hair to Un Angelo per Capello, a non-profit in Puglia, Italy. This organization supports oncology patients by creating free organic wigs from hair donations, helping to provide comfort and confidence during their recovery. Their decision to donate was driven by empathy and is a great reminder that small acts of kindness can make a large impact.
