Delulu is the Solulu I was initially skeptical about this video, but I’m glad I took the time to watch it. The speaker, though young and using some modern vernacular that might seem unfamiliar to some of us, made some powerful and insightful points. We often hear stereotypes about younger generations—labeled as lazy, entitled, or too focused on instant gratification. While there may be some truth to these perceptions, it’s important to remember that every generation faces its own unique challenges and is shaped by its circumstances. What stood out to me was the speaker’s argument that we must make a real effort to understand the priorities of today’s youth because, like it or not, they are our future workforce. While my generation was largely motivated by money and career progression, the younger generation values work-life balance and purposeful, meaningful work—and that’s perfectly okay. As leaders, it’s not just our job to lead but to prepare them for the complexities of the world they will inherit. Prompt Engineering Tips and Tricks: Part 2 Looking to up your AI game? Here are some valuable insights into prompt engineering that could make all the difference: Capitalization and Emotion: - Did you know that expressing emotion in your prompts, such as using ALL CAPS for emphasis, can actually enhance AI performance? For instance, if you say, "THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT FOR MY CAREER," the AI tends to take the prompt more seriously, mirroring how human responses are often more diligent when they sense urgency or importance. This is something the AI has learned from analyzing social media interactions, where emotional emphasis often prompts more thoughtful responses. Timing Matters: Ever noticed a dip in AI performance during the holidays or weekends? Last winter, it was observed that ChatGPT seemed to get a bit lazier as December rolled in. Turns out, the AI recognizes the holiday season and, much like us, might just slow down a bit. While it’s not conclusive, adjusting your prompts for peak performance periods could be a subtle hack to keep your AI sharp. Negative Prompts: - Struggling with getting those AI-generated images just right, especially when it comes to details like hands? Simply stating "make the fingers look good" in your prompt won’t cut it. AI tends to interpret prompts positively, which means it might not avoid things you tell it to. For example, saying "don’t include an elephant in the room" might ironically result in one appearing. The trick is to use negative prompts, but remember, not all AI models like DALL-E offer this feature yet.
