Thank you to all who attended this year's Berry Recruitment Group Awards night.
The evening is our chance to celebrate the hard working people that make up BRG, Berry Recruitment, Wild Recruitment Ltd, Wild Berry Associates and First Recruitment Services.
We've had a great year and appreciate all the hard work that our teams put in every day, and the BRG Awards give us the opportunity to thank everyone as well as celebrate those who have been with us for many years now.
Congratulations to all the winners, we are already looking forward to next year!
Great to meet up and lunch with Ruth Forster today, not only did I get to introduce Ruth and Biz but we also got to talk over many varied and different subjects as well as reminiscing about our long careers in recruitment, what we would have done differently (knowing what we know now) and what the future offers
30 years in and we are still going strong 😎

I am so thrilled to have won Employee of the month this May. More so because it demonstrates that working remotely does not mean that you go un-noticed byt he wider team.
Here at Rutherford Briant Recruitment, the Employee of the Month is voted for by their peers and I received so many lovely nominations that mentioned the words "supportive", "leading by example" and "positive influence", which only demonstrates to me that you can still have a huge impact and presence within the office - even if you do work remotely.
When I first found out that I would have to move up North for a period of time (army wife), my first instinct was panic. I did not want to leave my job, I love where I work and I did not want to have that awful conversation with my boss or my team. However, my MD, Toby Briant once said to me that "our only limitation is our imagination". Not only did that phrase stick with me, but we have lived by those words and have "made it happen".
With that ethos in mind, they took a chance on me working fully remote and with the support and regular guidance of Toby Briant, Amanda Sainter and the whole of the Rutherford Briant Recruitment team, I still feel like an integral part of the business and can truly thrive in my role. We have just learned to do things differently.
Thank you once again everyone who nominated - it really means a lot!

Employee of the Month - May 2024 ⭐️
Congratulations to our Recruitment Manager, Kelly Hunt, for being voted for Employee of the Month by her colleagues at Rutherford Briant Recruitment.
Kelly has produced fantastic results this month, continuing to lead by example and being a positive influence across the team. Kelly has recently received some excellent referrals and recommendations, in which she has been able to help others in their pursuit for new positions.
Well done Kelly, very well deserved.

Good morning, friends of YRP Recruiting! Can you believe it is Thursday already?
We don't need a special day or occasion, as every day celebrates the incredible achievements of the sworn and civilian women of York Regional Police. Their vital contributions in every branch of our organization inspire us all.
In various ranks and leadership roles, you will find females inspiring women and men, offering their perspectives and expertise. In the video, our very own Sergeant Wolframe takes a moment to drop some gems 💎 as well.
We understand that it isn't enough to only have women represented at the subordinate level. We show that women are valued by the heights they attain within our organization. We have women hailing from the highest leadership roles within YRP!
York Regional Police takes pride in its high-ranking female officers, who not only serve as mentors but also as shining examples of leadership and dedication to all members of the organization.
At York Regional Police, we recognize the invaluable role of female officers, and our ongoing efforts to recruit new members reflect our commitment to diversity and inclusion. #recruitingwithavision
Deputy Chief Cecile Hammond said women should "take the opportunity."
"Don't wait for someone to tap you on the shoulder and say you're ready," said Deputy Chief Hammond. "If you feel that you're ready, take action. If you don't shoot, you don't score."
Don't just take our word for it. Discover the fantastic opportunities at our upcoming Employment Information Session on August 22nd, 2024. We look forward to seeing you there!
