What an interesting time at Týden inovací ČR held at the captivating CSOB headquarters. There was almost too much to choose from, including panel discussions featuring Abran Maldonado, Ondrej Vlcek, Marcel Gajdos, Petr Polak, Michaela Bauer and many others. Here are my key takeaways from the thought-provoking closing panel, where discussions transcended technology and often delved into philosophy, courtesy of the insightful Tomas Sedlacek 1. The AI Conundrum: The debate on AI's impact on humanity continues. Will it enhance our lives or lead to unforeseen challenges? It appears that many potential issues are rooted in our own shortcomings, not AI itself. 2. The 4C Imperative: Critical thinking, collaboration, communication, and creativity are the cornerstones of the future. How can we ensure these skills are integrated into our children's education? 3. The Shift in Human Interaction: Will future generations rely less on physical interaction? It's possible that the new generation might need the "real world" less, and we could be the last to hold onto traditional norms. Exciting times ahead! Top five take aways from the BrXnd.ai conference yesterday in NYC: 1. Use AI to get your ideas into the world like Jenny Nicholson. Execution is (now) instant. Ideas are priceless. 2. Submit the machines to your artistic vision, like Frédéric Raillard. Fear has no place in creativity. 3. 70% of clients prefer a virtual sales experience to a human one as their first point of contact. Amanda Kahlow is taking this to market with a new stealth startup called 1mind. 4. There's no reason not to field qual behind every important decision that you make in business. Justin Ibbett at Focaldata is closing the loop, with quick-turn project managment and flash polling of real humans. 5. Create a custom GPT of yourself to brainstorm with you. Heck, have the whole team make them, and double the idea generation like David Cole at Colgate-Palmolive Great food for thought. Great food, too. But Antonella was able to write using only her eyes thanks to OTTAA, a groundbreaking device from Chilean start-up Comunicacion Aumentativa.
