The government has announced the annual increase in compensation limits for employment tribunal awards and other statutory payments. The maximum compensatory award for unfair dismissal will increase from £105,707 to £115,115. The limit on a week’s pay for purposes such as calculation of statutory redundancy payments will increase from £643 to £700. The changes are due to apply to dismissals taking place on or after 6 April 2024. #hr #humanresources #hrdirector #hrmanager #employmentlaw
