As elaborated at the CIM4 event, my suggestion is that... "A future in which machines provide the majority of the information and make the majority of the decisions in support of human creative processes necessarily leads to the humans becoming less technical specialists and more interpreters of the human condition. Architects, bankers, doctors, firemen, engineers, sailors and other professionals will have to expand their knowledge of human capabilities and of the human condition in order to help the automation to understand what it should be doing. This change in role will impact upon personal identity, business organisation and the forms of training which are needed to support people."
