Second... ⭐⭐⭐Our AF5 Analysis is now LIVE!⭐⭐⭐ If you have purchased our fact find analysis for the February 2025 exam or have booked onto our workshop, you will now be able to access the analysis via your BTS account. If you haven't done either of these things, you can do so here: Purchase AF5 analysis: https://lnkd.in/eATrvjJY Book onto workshop (Friday 31st Jan 09:30-16:30): https://lnkd.in/eHFRJ5RV Booking onto a workshop also give you access to the fact find analysis, so there is no need to purchase separately. What's included in our analysis?🤔 ➡️Fact find key facts. ➡️Technical revision areas list. ➡️78 potential questions - many of them two-parters so this '78' is actually a lot higher. Questions are based across potential immediate and longer term financial aims. ➡️Model answers for each question, along with guidance on how to handle that type of question. ➡️Our workshop day will cover some time on the fact find itself, really getting to know Martin and Sylvia as well as lots of opportunity to hone our exam technique and have a go at questions and answers. What you waiting for? Let's show AF5 who's boss😉, which is exactly what #TeamBTS did over the weekend. Sterling effort everyone🤩 #AF5exam #BTS #ExamSupport #Workshop #FactFindAnalysis

**UCAT ADVICE** Please share to anyone who may find it helpful! If you find advice like this helpful, join the ReDefine community here: (FOR FREE) https://lnkd.in/e2yNPa7T As UCAT season approaches, I thought it would be useful to give some tips on how to tackle this exam: 1. PERSERVERANCE – taking the UCAT requires hard work and determination, and when good results in mock papers don’t come your way, make sure to not get demotivated and give up. You’re not going to score highly in your first few mock papers, so don’t worry about that. Don’t focus on results, focus on efforts. 2. POSTIVE mindset – whenever you get a question wrong or you spend too much time on one, it is imperative that you reflect and realise on why/how you reached the wrong answer. Refine your thought process so that you reach the correct answer in a shorter period of time. It’s completely okay to get stuff wrong and make mistakes, but it is never okay to then do nothing about it. It’s never the first arrow (=wrong UCAT question) that’s harmful, it’s always the second (=not doing anything about it). 3. PRACTICE – just like any exam, this is the most important thing when it comes to improving your score and ensuring that you’re as prepared as possible when entering the exam. Question banks are like gold dust when it comes to preparation when it comes to the UCAT and incredibly high yield, in which MedEntry are leading the way with their comprehensive and wide-ranging question bank and mock papers, and you can use code: SIDMED100, in order to get a discount at checkout. Remember, the UCAT does not define you, your intelligence, ‘IQ’, cognitive skills, etc: at the end of the day, it’s just another exam, another hurdle to overcome.

Step 2 preparation - Since Step 1 has gone pass/fail, it does put the focus on Step 2. Scores alone don’t make you a good applicant but it helps for sure. Everyone does question banks, so you have to do them as well. Question banks can be done in untimed random mode so you focus on learning the concepts. The more questions you do the better the score you will get because you learn the same concepts framed in different ways. Always take practice tests by the NBME to assess your progress and give the exam when you feel confident. Happy studying! #step2 #img #ecfmg

How’s your Saturday morning? This is mine🤓 The more exam fact finds / case studies I have got involved in (in one way or another) the more I am learning. For this AF5 fact find, I keep thinking about how long it is taking me to design a comprehensive question and set of model answers and I’ll tell you something - it takes a LONG time for each one. And comprehensive is the key word there. If it isn’t…it’s either not finished or it’s not going into the analysis. I wrote a question yesterday and thought blimey, can you imagine if I didn’t have that three hour time constraint in the exam, I reckon id blow the examiners socks off🤣 Thing is….we do have that three hour window and it goes so flippin’ quick! 😬 So my top tip this morning, to anyone sitting #AF5 or #R06 in the next few weeks, get as much practise as you can in, of tackling exam standard questions. The more you do it, the more familiar you’ll get with different styles of questions and the better you’ll get at managing your time which really is key. Now to mange my time today…with finishing the more general areas and then looking at some estate planning questions for our couple Tom & Sally - who I will literally be looking at all day today (I am loving our BTS image for them!). Happy weekend everyone🤩 Bespoke Training Solutions Ltd #AF5exam #AF5September2024 #BTS #examsupport #exam #exams #learn #financialplanning #financialservices

How many times have you fallen down the exam revision rabbit hole?! 🐰 I have done this many times before and I still occasionally fall for it when revising for exams. One minute I am revising for any technical areas around bonds, the next I am way away from the information I wanted to know and heading down the technical rabbit hole looking at stuff that will NEVER come up in the exam, my brain is fried, and I can hardly even remember what it was I wanted to know! 😵 It all happens so quickly and so easily. So, how do I stop my 'rabbit-hole' problem?! ✨ Every time I pick up my revision study guide or FF, I set a timeframe for the length of time I want to spend on this particular revision session. I write down the areas I want to complete during this session plus any additional ‘off topic’ areas I want to explore further ‘just in case’ but making sure I allocate only a certain timeframe to that ‘off topic’ research. 📝 It also helps if you set yourself a timer on your phone to move on once the alarm goes off. If you feel you still need more ‘rabbit hole’ time, schedule this into your revision at another time once you have completed your ‘core’ revision. ⏱ Having a schedule of what you want to revise and when can not only help with ‘rabbit holes’ but it can also help you maintain a steady schedule up to your exam date and track the time you have spent vs the recommended study hours from the CII or whichever body you are taking the exam with. The Bespoke Training Solutions Ltd case study analysis for AF5 was released today for those who are planning on using it so you better hoppity hop to it – 2 weeks to go guys! Natalie Dawes DipPFS, Cert CII (MP, ER) I feel you could relate to the ‘rabbit hole’! 😂 #paraplanner #exams #CII #AF5 #revisionaids

As a small challenge for our weekly study group, I created a small three-task mini scenario for IS-IS. It helped me to check my knowledge on my IS-IS studies, since the topic was quite new to me. It led to some great discussions and I thought it might be useful for other folks preparing for the CCDE exam. https://lnkd.in/d2fiWmqi
