Last week’s Thinkdom team engagement session, led by our co-founder Joshita, was a unique blend of fun, fitness, and fellowship. 🌟 We started off with the ‘Plan Your Route’ activity. Each of us set out on a walk through our neighbourhoods, phone in hand, sharing live scenes and stories with the team. It was like a series of mini virtual tours, each one highlighting the unique charm of our local areas. We also discussed our walking habits – what we love about it, and our favourite things to do while walking. We switched gears to a 5-minute exercise routine. The session was filled with enthusiasm and laughter, proving that fitness can indeed be fun and uniting. But the real highlight of the session was the ‘Share a Snack’ activity. We each bought two snacks, shared one with a stranger, and kept one for ourselves. This activity brought smiles not just to the faces of the strangers but to ours as well. 😊 We wrapped up the session by enjoying our own snacks together. This Thinkdom Team engagement session was a journey of exploring, staying active, practising kindness, and strengthening our team bond. It’s been a really successful and inspiring event - a huge amount of people have come into the #happinesscamp and the vibe is so upbeat it’s infectious! 🤩 The MumPod®️ provides a secure, sound dampening, relaxing space for those who want to continue to breastfeed when they return to work: 💛 It sends the message that employers understand their employees’ needs and that they ‘see’ this cohort of people 🚽 It mitigates employees having to use a toilet or multi-use room to express their milk 😖 👶 It gives the confidence that they will be valued by the organisation when they return from maternity leave whether breastfeeding or not 👌🏻 It is a point of difference which shows how inclusive the employer is and that they can, not only meet, but exceed the expectations of future generations of talent! At Skating Panda our Pandas are our most important asset. They are at the core of our mission for real impact. 🐼 That's why we're committed to fostering an environment where every Panda feels supported, respected, and empowered – even when it comes to conversations about menstruation. Our recent post on Endometriosis struck a chord, resonating with our audience and motivating us to continue talking openly on topics often considered taboo. Menstruation experiences are unique to each individual, which means there isn't a ‘one size fits all’ solution to managing its impact on our work lives. More work needs to be done within the workplace to foster open dialogue and support, and that is where a Menstruation Policy comes in. We introduced this last year after an audit of our employee handbook and conversations around how we support female health. It’s a reflection of our commitment to our Pandas’ wellbeing.
