Despite the dealer's policy to upsell during service visits, the lack of follow-through made it clear they were missing the essence of effective sales: playing the long game. So, What sets great sales execs apart? ♦️Regular Contact ♦️ They keep in touch with past and potential customers, without immediate sales pressure. ♦️Presence ♦️ You'll find them at the service reception, engaging in genuine conversations over coffee. ♦️Referral Building ♦️ By nurturing relationships, they become the go-to person for customers and their network. ♦️Longevity and Success ♦️ These execs often stay longer at dealerships, enjoy high renewal rates, and generate more referrals.
