Don't you just love it when you do great things with great people - so great that you get asked to come back to do more! I first worked with a client way back in 2015 when I created and delivered their marketing strategy. Fast forward a few years and I'm back working with them on their #culture, #employeeexperience, #internalcommunication, #leadershipdevelopment (and #marketing thrown in for good measure). The marketing experience is so crucial for creating and communicating their employer brand and #EVP. It's also crucial for creating commercially sound business cases for investing in the employee experience amongst other things. I absolutely love working with this client. We have total respect and trust for each other, which is a perfect baseline for success all round. Last week, we had oodles of fun filming a hero video for their website to bring to life what it's like at their company. When you hear their employees talk so passionately about their culture, it creates a true sense of pride and satisfaction. But here's a quick summary. 82% of US brands have an in-house agency of some kind. That doesn't mean they aren't working with agencies. It just means those relationships work differently. A post-pandemic world changed things. Clients became more accepting of hybrid working models, And it created a huge surge in high-quality, independent talent. Global teams still rely on AOR's for what I'd call 'Super Bowl' creativity. Local teams and 'Heads of Departments' rely on collections of agencies or, increasingly, hybrid arrangements - like ours. And if you break that down further to a talent level you'll see organisations rely on hybrid arrangements as well, agencies will be the first to do so. That's why we're really excited about the potential for collaboration with agencies like Mother, rather than competition. At its core, °Small World will always be about curating super-teams for individual client briefs without sacrificing the quality of agency services.
