Read these words on a fellow workmate’s desk calendar today. The truth always makes you stop and take notice. We often take words of appreciation for granted, sharing them sparingly, especially with new joiners, senior leaders or those who are back from career breaks. I feel blessed to be part of a team and organisation where appreciation is embedded in the cultural DNA and where we uplift each other through encouraging words, frequently. Over the past two years, we've grown from 15 to 150. Tremendous growth — which I’m extremely thankful for. But it’s made me realize how incredibly important culture is. Because, as your team grows, the odds of entropy increases— Inefficiency between 5-10 people doesn’t hurt too much, But between 150 people? Millions of dollars are on the line. So every month, in our global call, we zoom out. We take a step back from the daily grind, To not only tell new recruits what we're working towards... But to remind seasoned Prezentians why they're here, too. And every quarter, we spotlight those who embody our values, Through value-specific awards — because it's all about alignment. Our mission is huge … way beyond one person's reach. So, this emphasis? It's crucial. It reminds us of the power of pulling together. Because “teamwork” isn't just a buzzword here. It's what makes our company possible.

🚀 Approaching my first 90 days at LinkedIn and it has been a whirlwind! Time has flown by, packed with A LOT of learning and some amazing experiences. Grateful for the warm welcome and support from everyone across the company. Ramping a new leader can be taxing but no one has let on to that (yet). Quite the opposite in fact. It feels like I've been here longer than just a quarter, yet my daily discovery of new acronyms continues to remind me of my newcomer status… 🌟 Highlights so far: •𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐓𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐦: From the Bay Area to Chicago, New York, and Toronto, meeting our team across North America has been truly inspiring. I refuse to pick a favorite (how could I?) even though some teams have applied pressure to do so. •𝐂𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐲 𝐂𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞: Each office visit has only deepened my appreciation and understanding for our company culture. A standout moment was a heartfelt session with our Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging leaders in Toronto. Hearing their stories and passion firsthand was both moving and motivating. •𝐂𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐫 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬: Spending time with our team and customers has been a blast. Having recently been a customer myself, it's been rewarding and fun to be on the other side of the table, helping our customers grow their businesses. 🎯 Wrapping up the Quarter Strong: •Today marks the end of both the quarter and fiscal year, and the energy and winning vibes are palpable. It's been fulfilling to see so many exceed expectations and grow together as a team. Packing up all this momentum to take with us into the new fiscal year.

#MilestoneAchieved! This past weekend, I hit my five-year #anniversary with Hill & Knowlton (time truly does fly when you're having fun!). As I reflect on the past five years, I thought I would share five of my favourite pieces of #advice I've received and that have stuck with me: 1. Embrace the uncomfortable / challenging - it's only then when we truly stretch and grow and become 'super consultants'. 2. Be humble and invest time in helping others to grow. 3. Find ways to empower your team, rather than just simply delegating. 4. Contribute to a culture of learning and create a safe space for that learning to happen. 5. To be a skilled leader, make sure you have a strong business acumen and as well as a strong people/organizational culture mindset.
