Super exciting for PS Portal owners, Sony announced a new system software update for PS Portal, bringing some handy improvements to your remote play experience. 📡 Public Wi-Fi on the Go: This update supports networks with sign-in screens for public Wi-Fi locations, often found in hotels, cafes, and airports. Here's how it works: 1. PS Portal displays a QR code. 2. Scan the code with your smartphone or tablet. 3. Use your mobile browser to complete the network's validation steps. 👉 Enhanced Touchpad Controls: The update also adds visual feedback to the PS Portal's on-screen touchpad. This will make using touch controls during remote play more intuitive and responsive. 🔋 Battery Level at a Glance: Keep an eye on your PS Portal's battery life with a new option to display the remaining battery percentage in the status bar. The Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold is rumored to feature an enhanced split-screen mode, allowing users to multitask more efficiently. According to a report, the upcoming device will enable users to arrange apps on the left and right sides of the inner display, even in portrait mode. This upgrade is made possible by changes in the Android 14 QPR2 code, which will provide a more seamless multitasking experience. Currently, split-screen mode only allows apps to be arranged vertically on top of each other. The Pixel 9 Pro Fold is expected to boast an inner display resolution of 2,076 x 2,152 pixels, an improvement from its predecessor. The device may also feature an 8.02-inch main display and a 6.29-inch cover screen, making it a significant upgrade from the Pixel Fold.
