Vanessa Lau suggests you’ll feel comfortable after making 5 bad videos—but let’s dive deeper. Even for successful creators, resistance and creative struggles are constants. The difference? They keep going. Creating content is about persistence, not perfection. The ancient Greeks didn’t have a word for procrastination—they saw it as part of the creative process. And that’s how I approach my work, including developing my course. Whether you’re creating content, managing a project, or building something from the ground up, remember: it’s a process. How do you tackle creative resistance in your work? #ContentCreation #CreativeProcess #ProfessionalGrowth #VanessaLau

Want to know why some creators explode while others stay stuck? The secret lies in mastering this ONE often-overlooked principle. Here's the truth: trying to create content about everything means you'll be remembered for nothing. The key to standing out isn't about being everywhere - it's about owning your unique "lane of one." Your lane of one is that singular principle, concept, or framework that becomes synonymous with YOU. It's where your expertise, knowledge, life experience, and unique perspective intersect to create content that only you can deliver. Think about it: When people think about your topic, do they immediately think of you? If not, you might be spreading yourself too thin. What's your "lane of one"? What unique perspective or expertise you bring to your content that no one else can replicate! #ContentCreator #PersonalBranding #PersonalBrandingTips #ContentStrategy

Stay Inspired. Never stop creating. This is easier than it sounds for most of us. So how do we continuously create? By getting into a creators mindset. Each day create something. A post. An email. A graphic. A video. An article. Just create. The longer you do this consistently, the easier it becomes and the better your content becomes. Never stop creating. #ContentCreator #WeBuildBuzz

As content creators, we walk a fine line between making quality videos and making them consistently. Sometimes, when I sit down to brainstorm my next video idea, it feels like my mind is working against me: “That’s not a good idea.” “Nope, not that either.” Before I know it, I’m stuck wondering—is my mind protecting me from bad content, or stopping me from creating anything at all? The lesson I’ve learned (and keep re-learning) is this: ✅ Take the time to shape your message. ✅ Do the research and gather your facts. But eventually, you’ve got to hit record. It’s OK to slow down for quality—but don’t let overthinking stop you from creating. Here’s to making great videos consistently in 2025! Do you struggle with this balance? Let’s talk about it below! #ContentCreation #VideoMarketing #StrehlMedia #CreativeProcess #2025Goals

You probably don’t need more “authentic and raw” content. It’s not that you shouldn’t be authentic, but “off the cuff” content where you just ramble isn’t a great move if you’re trying to get leads for your biz. Making banger videos is about taking what’s working and inserting your personality into it… Rather than thinking your raw personality is enough to get people interested in your content and excited about working with you. So unless you’re already a huge name, your content should be clear, focused, and carefully planned out. Authenticity + Structure = Success Authenticity + Rambling Content = Failure

Here’s why people really share content It’s not random. It’s psychology. 3 reasons people hit ‘share’: → To express themselves (a funny meme shows their humor). →To feel connected (a heartfelt story brings people closer). →To be helpful (a quick tip makes them look resourceful). The trick? Make your content about them. →Will it make them look good? →Will it help them connect? →Will it let them share value with others? When you design content that aligns with these needs, they won’t just scroll—they’ll share. Now it’s your turn: What’s the last piece of content you shared, and Why?
