I've been chasing and reaching a lot of my goals in the entertainment and media world for years, but today I'm here having hit a career goal as a retailer! When I was traveling the world I found that queer gift shops were very male focused and wanted to create something for silly sapphic jokes. It became my off season project. Since the strikes, my industry has been on the difficult side so I spent more time with this brand. Today I got accepted to open a wholesale account on Faire to get my products in more stores! It's been a few weeks since Jonathan Bing and I launched Bite Media and the support we have gotten has been incredible! We picked the name Bite because the face of media and engagement is changing- now the average professional needs clear concise communication skills and messaging. Content needs to grab attention quickly and deliver value or entertainment in a heartbeat. Our passion is to help individuals do that to elevate their personal brand as well as their company. #mediatraining #publicrelations

Google domains was my go to, now they've sold their domains to SquareSpace. Are we using that or do we have a new go-to?

From the outside it looks like I stumble into a new career every year, maybe that's true. The main thing is that my purpose never changes. My mission in life and professionally is always to empower independent creatives in sustainable ways. I've been Renee's fan for years, admiring her work, her innovative techniques, and also just how she's a total badass of a human being. A few weeks ago she asked me if I wanted to be her private art dealer and of course, I accepted. I am SO delighted to take her work to the next level and get it out into the world. These pieces are all one of a kind, painted in textured molds that she's made herself, no paper, no canvas until she mounts them. She draws her inspiration from maps and the American countryside and I am wowed by the stories she has behind some of these pieces. These are just a few snapshots with my phone while I was in her studio but I cannot wait to show you more when I get elbow deep into her content strategy! #fineart #art #creativeforhire

As we come off a very slow in the industry 2023, I took a nice off season of mostly being offline. I got to really concentrate on my goals, my whys, and what impact I want to have in media. I got into tv because I want to tell stories with impact. I want people who look like me and live like me to be seen. That's why I chose casting. As we come back into the work year, just letting you know that your nerdy, quirky, queer casting director/producer is available and ready to advocate for amazing diverse talent for your projects! My books are open.... for now! I'm also working on some sliding scale rates that honor my value and experience as a professional but increase accessibility to marginalized creators.
