18 months… That’s the average tenure of a CRO! 😲 If you want to last longer than the rest, you need a 90 day plan 📝 There’s so much to do, that it’s easy to get overwhelmed. You join a new company You have to adjust to a new environment Often starting with zero credibility, so you have to build up the key relationships from scratch. On top of that, you need to: ✔️ Identify the cultural norms  ✔️ Get familiar with the business   ✔️ Identify your key stakeholders  ✔️ Dive into the products and services ✔️ Understand the strategic business plan  ✔️ Understand the processes and systems ✔️ Develop a “birds-eye view” of the people ✔️ Plus the company and industry as a whole ✔️ Develop relationships and trust with the teams No wonder you’re nervous, it’s not for the faint of heart 😰 Here’s the 90 day roadmap you need to succeed in the role for the long term 1️⃣ Do your discovery within the first 30 days by networking internally and learning as much as you can 2️⃣ Present your strategic roadmap and plan to the board and agree on the measures of success with your boss within 60 days 3️⃣ Smash out a series of quick wins in succession that align with the companies objectives Hint: Make the quick wins things your boss wants and needs to be done soon. Don’t come in with guns blazing making revolutionary changes - that can wait until later. Above all - remember to reward yourself 🎁 You’ve landed the CRO role… Congratulations 🥳 It’s tough It’s demanding It’s challenging But it’s also where you can make a huge impact For yourself For your teams Even for your industry Now got out there and make a lasting impression 🚀
