My direct and honest approach with my clients and staffing partners has always been the foundation of my relationships. Simply put, they know they can count on me to shoot them straight. These conversations aren't always easy, but they are always worth it. I had a client who urgently needed a full-time employee. A family member from a staffing agency quoted him a fee with a shocking 72% markup for a role that required no additional onboarding or insurance costs. I knew it was time for an honest discussion. Leveraging the staffing partners in my MSP program, I found a stellar candidate at nearly half the cost. Cost savings anyone? 🐏 Was advising him to go through our program over his family member an easy conversation? No. 🐏 Was it worth it for the client? Yes. While Thanksgiving had a few awkward moments that year, he was grateful that I had steered him in a different direction, resulting in both a fantastic new employee and extra money in the budget. Cutting the fluff doesn't mean sacrificing quality! My priority has always been to foster successful partnerships with our clients and suppliers that are mutually beneficial.
