One of my favorite parts of recruiting is connecting with people who look past the “work” and see the growth, purpose, and potential in every role. If you’re someone who’s willing to update that CV, take an online assessment, or hop on a quick call, don’t let the effort (or a remote format) scare you away. There are incredible opportunities out there, including ones that embrace flexible or remote work arrangements. Sometimes, the only thing standing between you and your next big career move is the decision to step up and go for it. #JobSearch #CareerGoals #WorkFromAnywhere #RemoteWork #RecruiterLife #JobHunt #Nexteam

Interesting insights from 10,000 survey professionals. Additional insights from my many conversations with clients and candidates in the last few months: 💡 companies are increasing in-office days 💡 more otherwise passive candidates are seeking new opportunities in response to increasing in-office requirements; compensation is less important for these candidates 💡 significantly fewer fully remote opportunities for candidates; remote/hybrid opportunities have larger interested candidate pools (esp. relevant for niche roles with limited expertise) 💡 compensation continues to be top of mind for many candidates, especially for relocation candidates 💡 continued sluggishness in hiring at mid to senior levels. What are you seeing?

#JobHunt #RemoteWork #RecruitmentStruggles Hey everyone! Have you ever had that experience where you’re excited about a job opportunity, only to find out it’s been changed to in-person just when you thought it was a done deal? 🤔 I recently had a conversation about this with some friends, and it seems like it’s happening more and more these days. Just in the last couple of months, I’ve had half a dozen staffing agencies contact me about remote positions. But then, out of nowhere, they're saying, "Oh, actually the company has decided they want in-person candidates instead." I mean, really? Let’s break this down: Consistency Issues: It’s baffling that a company can shift its stance so quickly. One minute, they’re open to remote work; the next, they're switching gears. 😩 Information Misuse: I can’t help but think this might be a tactic to collect our info - are these roles even real, or is it just a way to build a talent pool? Lack of Communication: The recruiters don’t e... Are Staffing Agencies Misleading Job Seekers on Remote Roles? Answers: https://lnkd.in/gWj9mhuK

I believe in the power of flexible work arrangements, whether remote or hybrid. However, I also respect companies that prefer a 100% onsite workforce. Understanding each other's preferences is key to success. Recruitment hurdles in onsite preferences can be overcome with the right strategies. Not everyone seeks remote opportunities, and great talent can still be found in the office. Recently, we assisted a company facing recruitment challenges due to a limited local candidate pool. By expanding the search radius gradually, we successfully found a suitable candidate willing to relocate within the state. Remember, local markets can hold hidden talent gems. Avoid self-limiting beliefs like "we can't find anyone" and focus on proactive recruitment strategies. With the right mindset and approach, the talent you seek is within reach. #Recruitment #TalentAcquisition #WorkforceStrategies

The Ever-Evolving Landscape of Recruitment 🌍🔍 Recruitment today is a far cry from what it used to be. It’s not just about filling positions anymore—it’s about adapting to constant change and overcoming new challenges. Here are a few trends shaping the industry: Remote Work 💻: The rise of remote work has expanded the talent pool globally, but also made hiring more competitive. Recruiters are now searching for the right fit, regardless of location—but that means navigating different time zones, cultures, and even legal requirements. Talent Shortage 🧠: Skilled talent, especially in fields like tech and healthcare, is harder to find than ever. It’s pushing companies to get creative with recruitment strategies, whether it’s looking for transferable skills, tapping into non-traditional talent pools, or offering unique benefits. Candidate Expectations 📈: Candidates are more discerning than before. They expect flexibility, transparency, and a strong company culture. The recruitment process itself is now an opportunity to showcase what makes your organization stand out. Recruitment is no longer just about filling roles. It’s about creating long-term value by aligning the right people with the right opportunities. What challenges are you facing in today’s recruitment landscape? 💬👇 #Recruitment #HiringTrends #TalentAcquisition #FutureOfWork #RemoteWork

I’ve got to vent about a recurring issue we’re seeing lately. We’ve been receiving applications for positions that clearly state they are ON-SITE (ie NOT REMOTE). We put in the effort to detail expectations in the job description, and yet, when we extend offers, candidates back out—often at the last minute—citing remote work preferences. It's disheartening for everyone involved. This not only wastes valuable time and resources for our team, but it also impacts the overall hiring process and slows down our clients' projects. To all job seekers: Please read the job descriptions thoroughly and consider if the role aligns with your preferences before applying. Transparency is key! We’re all trying to find the right fit—let’s make the process smoother and more respectful for everyone. #RemoteWork #JobSeeking #OnsiteWork #HiringChallenges #RespectTheProcess
