Belated Easter fun and games Who says games are just for kids? At PRC Architecture & Planning Ltd Milton Keynes, we embraced our inner child and played some belated egg-cellent Easter team-building activities today. Our office Easter egg hunt, and Easter basket scoop were popular choices. And let's not forget about classics like bunny hop and Easter bowling. These games are the perfect way to get people away from their desks and engage in some valuable team bonding. Egg-cellent fun was had by all! #teambounding #teambuilding

Including my #blind children in activities is hilarious fun when we turn the tables and level the playing field… sort of! This is from our newest favorite holiday tradition: Reindeer Games Night. My kiddos & I invite a few of our best friends and their families to our home on Christmas Eve Eve for pizza and silly games that make for some legendary moments. My boys get such a kick out of all the whining from alllll the sighted people that have to put on blindfolds and scoop things into pans (shown here) or navigate things tied to their back that they cannot see! This year I realized we hang out with very competitive folks when they started asking the exact visual acuity and field of vision of Michael & Mitchell when they dominated a few games! Our family & friends completely understand the competitive edge that blindness gives my boys and others in many situations. And I’m certain they are all making their families practice the blindfold games to win next year! 🤣 Inclusion is not hard and yet it’s a challenge for so many people to understand. I look forward to working with so many of you in 2024 to change that… one goofy game & serious project at a time! A very fascinating partnership coming out of Luminosity Gaming and Maryville University. While specifics of this deal may be an isolated instance given the current Overwatch 2 competitive landscape. I do think this opens the door to many more partnerships similar to this, particularly with regard to organizations wanting to get involved in challenger's leagues or developing esports titles. Daniel Clerke on twitter mentioned that the name of the game right now is sustainability for esports organizations moving forward. This partnership reduces the overhead for major organizations with regard to operating multiple teams thus making long term operation much more likely. I could very much envision a world in which more organizations start adopting this business practice to operate in more titles. Perhaps we'll see the Call of Duty Challenger's league make a resurgence with more major organizations throwing their hats in the proverbial ring with partnerships from universities with facilities to house, feed, and, more importantly, develop these players as the pursue their path to professional play. Important for #sportsbusiness leaders to see this coming and solve for it ahead of time. “The reality is that younger cohorts probably won’t enjoy the same access to live sports that their parents did. In that case, we need to invest more to ensure kids develop a love for sports in other ways. . . . Attending games, playing video games, and learning to play a sport will be even more important to compensate for limited access to live sports TV. Not everyone lives close enough or can afford those experiences today, so we should be doing all we can to make these activities easier and more affordable.” #sportsacademies #youthsports #sportsmedia
