NITI Aayog,Govt. of India Internship Program 2023:Apply by 10th February 2024 What is Exactly NITI Aayog??(Lets Know it): NITI Aayog is developing itself as a state-of-the-art resource centre with the necessary knowledge and skills that will enable it to act with speed, promote research and innovation, provide strategic policy vision for the government, and deal with contingent issues.  It is supported by an attached office, Development Monitoring and Evaluation Organisation (DMEO), a flagship initiative, Atal Innovation Mission (AIM) and an autonomous body, the National Institute of Labour Economics Research and Development (NILERD). Eligibility Bonafide students of any recognized University/ Institution within India or abroad, fulfilling the following conditions are eligible to apply for the internship: UG students, having completed/appeared in the term-end exams of the 2nd year/4th semester of the bachelor’s degree course, secured not less than 85% or equivalent marks in the 12th class. Graduate students having completed/appeared in the term-end exams of first-year/2nd semester of their post-graduate program or pursuing research/Ph.D. and secured not less than 70% or equivalent marks in Graduation. The students who have appeared in the final exam or just completed Graduation/PG and waiting for admission to higher studies may also be considered for internship provided that they have secured 70% or more cumulative marks in all the years/semesters of their graduation/ post-graduation till the date of application. The period between the month of declaration of the result of the final exam and the desired month of the internship should not exceed 6 (Six) months e.g. if the result is declared in the month of June then he/she can apply for the internship beginning in the month of December. Duration At least 6 (Six) weeks but not exceeding 6 (Six) months. Interns not completing the requisite period will not be issued any certificate. Experience Certificate A certificate regarding the successful completion of the internship shall be issued by the Adviser of the concerned Subject Division. Its December and second year students all across the country are exploring internship opportunities for Summer 2024. Since a lot of you have been reaching out to me about how the application process is at NITI Aayog Official and several other questions, you can find all the information in this post. Feel free to send in a message about anything else you would want to know! 1. Application Process: The Application for the Niti Internship Scheme opens every month from the 1st to 10th. You can apply seven months in advance, but not for the immediately next month. For example, if you apply in December 2023, you can apply for Feb through July 2024, but not January 2024. 2. Where to Apply? Application Requirments? The application is quite simple, you will need basic details such as your date of birth, address, contact number, 10th and 12th marks, and your undergrad scores. At the time of joining, you are to present an NOC in the prescribed format, and sign a Non Disclosure Agreement, stating that you cannot disclose any files, details, or names of the work that you will undertake during the course of your internship. 4.What are the various areas one can apply in? Niti Aayog offers an internship in 32 different domains, including Economics, Agriculture, MSME, Foreign Trade, Tourism, Data Management and Analysis(DMA), and Programme Monitoring and Evaluation(or DMEO), to name a few. You can apply in any of these domains, as per your interest. There may be an interview in addition to the application that you submit, depending on the vertical you choose. 5. Timings and Work Mode: The timings are generally from 9am to 5pm with 12-1 as lunch break. Timings vary from vertical to vertical. Niti Internship Scheme has 6 weeks offline internship as a mandatory requirement for internship completion, meaning that you would be working at the Niti Bhawan in Delhi for 6 weeks. You can extend your internship by priorly conveying your interest to your supervising officer, which may be either online or offline. 6. My Experience: I worked at the Development Monitoring & Evaluation Office, NITI Aayog for a 12 week period, first six weeks offline and the next six online. My work basically revolved around evaluation of government schemes. I used to stay in office for 6-8 hours, and leave after completing the day's work. I used to interact on a daily basis with my supervising officer and their team, which helped me learn several new concepts, particularly about the practical use of research in daily life, particularly in policy making. #nitiaayog #summerinternship2024

🍁Read and Think.. 📍NITI Aayog Internship Scheme - An Internship Scheme named "NITI Internship Scheme" seeks to engage students pursuing Under Graduate / Graduate / Post Graduate Degrees or are Research Scholars enrolled in recognized University/ Institution within India or abroad, as "interns". These 'interns" shall be given exposure to various Verticals/ Divisions/Units within NITI Aayog and would be expected to supplement the process of analysis within NITI Aayog through empirical collection and collation of in-house and other information.
