These four aspects of baghouse system design provide a solid base from which to build upon. I am curious to hear how many interesting variations people have seen to the basics? Air to Cloth Ratio: Can anyone claim they run a full production baghouse in the range of 1,000 plus CFM with an air to cloth ratio of more than 24:1? - I have posted this before but have not been able to test this unit claiming 24:1 A/C. https://lnkd.in/gJHyJ9RM What is the highest that you have worked with or have heard about? Upward Velocity: both can velocity and interstitial velocities play into this component but many methods and attempts have been tried to alter the impact of upward velocity. - Orientation of filters is a very common method - Changing the intake port location - baffling - diffuser plates What else is out there? Dust Loading: The size of the particles that are able to be captured is well documented and can be a comparison point. Other than that this component is a main reason why so many baghouse manufacturing companies exist. The specific characteristics of the dust must be used to impact the design of the system or high performance will not be achieved. Regeneration systems: many variations in this segment as well - Nozzle details - Venturi details - pulse, reverse air, shaking - sonic horns - Vibrators - Brushes - Scrapers - Air fluidizers .... Again, what off the wall or out of the norm features have you seen or experienced.

ROTEX® SH coupling with split hubs / SPLIT hubs The torsionally flexible jaw coupling ROTEX SH is an elastomer coupling with split hubs / SPLIT hubs (half shell coupling) easy to service and is characterized by easy assembly and disassembly. The hubs of the half shell coupling ROTEX SH have been split into two halves precisely, mechanically and reliably by "cracking". A rough surface with positive-locking connection ensuring an accurate fit of the two halves is generated. The contoured, rough cracked surfaces ensure ideal centering of the hub halves. The split hubs allow to assemble and disassemble the elastomer coupling radially via four screws without displacing the adjacent power packs. This makes the elastomer coupling with split clamping hub particularly easy to assemble and service.
