This will help you land your dream job. Top IT companies in India reduced hiring by 40% this fiscal year. No doubt, these are testing times for freshers and early professionals, and the one who stands out, wins it all. But how does one stand out? Let's discover 👇🏻 A traditional fresher's job application consists of making a resume, approaching recruiters, applying on company career portals, applying on LinkedIn, etc. The problem with the above traditional method is, in most cases, you won't hear back from the company as well as the recruiter 🙁 That’s sad but true. But to prove their mettle student at least needs a chance, right? And recently I stumbled upon a website that: 📍Conducts your screening round with industry experts irrespective of your tier and college. 📍Provides you feedback and a scorecard on your performance. 📍Allows you to apply and get noticed by recruiters depending on your screening round performance. 📍Currently companies like - Uber, Coinbase, Gojek, and Flipkart are actively recruiting from the platform. Here’s the link to the website for you to Sign Up now - https://shorturl.at/jtuK7 Try this out and let me know in comments if this helped you in your job search ✅ Happy job hunting ✨ #sde #jobsearch #hiring #softwareengineer

In March of last year, I was thrilled to receive an offer to join Yulu Bikes as a Technical Architect, scheduled to start in August. However, due to operational reasons, my start date was deferred to December. As I approached this new start date with patience and optimism, I was disheartened to learn in November that my employment would be further delayed and I was advised to seek other opportunities. Despite the challenging job market for freshers, I maintained hope and continued to communicate with Yulu, only to face repeated deferrals and a lack of clear communication. By January, seven months had passed since my graduation, significantly widening the gap in my employment history and complicating my job search even further. The journey with Yulu has been deeply frustrating, filled with mixed signals and unmet expectations. I share this experience to highlight the challenges that fresh graduates may face in the job market, and to remind employers of the impact their hiring practices have on individuals' lives. I am currently seeking opportunities where my skills as a Technical Architect can be utilized and valued. Any referrals or recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Edit: With Technical Architect I mean SDE only .. the nomenclatures are different in different companies. Hope this clears your doubts everyone 😊 #JobSearch #HiringPractices #GraduateChallenges #TechJobs #OpenToWork

Technology company Tech Mahindra announced on April 25 that it plans to hire 6,000 freshers in the financial year 2025. Despite experiencing a decrease in its employee count, with 795 fewer employees in the fourth quarter and a total reduction of 6,945 for the full year FY24—marking the second historic annual decline since FY18—Tech Mahindra said it remains committed to bolstering its workforce with new talent. During the results conference, MD & CEO Mohit Joshi stated, "There is some reduction in the headcount that reflects the business volume that we are seeing. However, we are one company that is steadily adding fresh graduates and we are continuing on our path of absorbing 1500 plus fresh graduates every quarter - 6000 freshers being added each year." He further highlighted the company's commitment to training new hires, noting, "We are also building out an intensive program to train these freshers under the new Chief Learning Officer. We are adding headcount in terms of fresh talent." #techmahindra #mahindra #freshers #employees #college #employees #indianstartupnews

Your first job is the bucket full of unexpected treasures and learning. Some hope for earning money but some go for taking experience like me. 👩💻From a computer science engineering branch & landing to the first job of customer support in Flipkart.com process , it’s an unforgettable experience for me. ✈️ I wanted to be in defence service but family haven’t allowed me to persue NCC so dropped the plan of being in airforce services. 👩⚕️👷♀️Choosing options either Doctor or engineer and thought I’m scared from dead bodies so went towards of becoming an engineer and opted computer science engineer because my father promised me of gifting laptop once I’ll score good grades in semester. Any how proved my best and got my first laptop 💻. 🫣Hold on just after four years of engineering completion got placed in IT company but missed the opportunity due to health problem and couldn’t joined. 🧳After sometime any how I landed to the cleanest city of India #Indore. Convinced my family to come back in 6 months. It’s difficult to digest being an engineer and working in customer support. Before this I approached to IT companies but I was being asked they don’t hire fresher. 👩🚀So continued with this customer support job. I learnt how to tackle aggressive customers , #empathy talks , #email writing, reporting to higher authorities and value of one minute while punching for attendance. 😵💫I was not satisfied from BTech degree because I was doing e-commerce field job and this emotion pushed me to learn further in technology . Decided to take admission in MTech and dropped the customer support job. 👩🏫Now I am an Assistant Professor on the way to enlighten students dreams and helping them to be on right path. 😎No matter how many failures will come but your knowledge will help you to get where you wanted to be. 🤗Thanks to my first job who showed trust in me and gave me opportunity to learn something new that I have never thought of. ⏳Today on time punching discipline, e-mail writing and empathy talk is helping me to communicate in my professional connections. It’s not related to my technical degree but still helping me. What’s your first job experience ? Share in the comment section. #firstjob #customersupport #higherdegree #careertransition #jobexperience #enhanceknowledge #success

🌟Sharing The Experience with Tech Mahindra’s Off /ON Campus Recruitment Drive 🌟 Tech Mahindra's off/On campus drive, and it was a challenging yet rewarding experience. Here’s a breakdown of the four rounds I faced: Round 1: Written Test This 90-minute test was divided into four sections: ✏️ Quantitative Aptitude: Arithmetic, algebra, and data interpretation. 🧩 Logical Reasoning: Puzzles and pattern recognition. 📚 Verbal Ability: Grammar, comprehension, and vocabulary. 💻 Technical Knowledge: Basic programming and CS fundamentals. Tip: Consistent practice with aptitude books and mock tests is key. For technical, revisiting core concepts and solving coding problems made a big difference. Round 2: Technical Interview This round was a deep dive into my technical skills. The interviewer asked about my academic projects and posed challenging questions on: - Data Structures & Algorithms - Databases - Programming Languages (like why I preferred React over Angular, and details about NodeJS) - Coding Challenges (e.g., reversing a linked list) Tip: Regular coding practice on platforms like GeeksforGeeks and HackerRank helped me clear this round. It’s important to clearly explain your thought process. Round 3: HR Interview The final round focused on personality, cultural fit, and future aspirations. Questions ranged from my background and career goals to situational problems that tested my decision-making abilities. Tip: Be honest and self-aware. Research Tech Mahindra’s values and recent developments to align your answers with the company’s culture. This experience not only tested my knowledge but also helped me grow as a candidate. If you're preparing for Tech Mahindra, stay focused, practice regularly, and believe in your abilities! #TechMahindra #CampusRecruitment #CareerJourney #TechInterviews #AptitudeTest #Coding #HRInterview #TechCareers
