When work takes place in a hybrid mode, why not consider hybrid placements? Before the pandemic, the phrase 'hybrid placements' confused many. Thanks to the experience gained in the past three years, almost 20% of placements now happen online. It is a viable option and saves immense amounts of time and costs in terms of travel. Not only that, there is better coordination and even increased opportunities. Add to that a more equitable ground for the geographically disadvantaged, and you have a pool of more and better candidates, leading to greater benefits for the company. Most companies are now conducting initial rounds online and leaving only the final interview stage for offline modes, saving time for both candidates and recruiters who would have otherwise spent hours in anticipation. So, the hybrid mode is working well, but greater adoption is yet to be seen. Take high-package placements, for instance. Companies want to leave no stone unturned in ensuring that they select the perfect candidate, and offline interviews provide more assurance about the credibility of the candidate. Front-end customer interaction roles demand 'etiquette,' which isn't assessed well online, necessitating offline conversations. Solving the 'trust' and 'accuracy' factors can aid in the widespread adoption of this trend. In my opinion, this is a trend that will change the recruiting landscape. This post really resonates with me. It's amazing how hybrid placements are becoming more common. The time saved on travel is a game-changer, and it's so much fairer for people in different places💯
