𝙈𝙮 𝙁𝙖𝙨𝙩 𝙁𝙤𝙤𝙙 𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙪𝙣𝙙𝙧𝙪𝙢 The Belgian Fries Co., a place with "fries" in the name, offers the BEST burgers but bad fries. Meanwhile, Burger King, the self-proclaimed "King", offers decent burgers but great fries. What kind of a marketing mismatch is this?😂 Maybe? Since the Flagship product is made in a larger quantity, it just messes up its quality because of operational fixes. Plus, its operations are more diligently solved as it contributes the most to the revenue trying to optimize costs for just better margins. But for now, it's the ultimate test: Do you prioritize a perfect burger and suffer through subpar fries, or settle for stellar fries and a mediocre burger? #FoodForThought #stupidmondaypost

Hi, Rishabh here from ... tilak nagar. To add my two cents to this discussion, I would say that I believe there are many factors at play in this management/marketing problem and we cannot simply reduce it to optimizing costs for better margins. Firstly, taste is subjective. The sample size that you have taken (n=5-1) is not enough for the inference that you have drawn.. for e.g. it could be that belgian FRIES are the absolute most favourite fries for some person while others may hate them. Same with burger king. Secondly, I do not believe that there is a clear correlation between naming of a company and the product quality it provides.. for e.g. Best Tyre Shop could be just a marketing gimmick - same as the 'Burger King' one that you mentioned.. A lot goes in a name and most probably, origins of a company play a big role. In our particular case, BELGIAN fries is actually an Indian company which on its own website mentions burgers before fries.. the word fries in Belgian Fries comes from the concept of loaded fries and not the taste of their fries in general. Its their USP but ofcourse, according to us, they are not very good at it. Finally, I do not believe that fries is the cash cow for Belgian Fries at all, I believe that-

It’s about the cravings, Bhavya. A thirst for a burger cannot be quenched by fries, and vice versa. It's true that fries often play second fiddle, being considered more of an accompaniment rather than a star attraction. And you're spot on about the dilemma faced by fries lovers. Sometimes, the allure of a perfect burger just can't be matched by a side of subpar fries. The answer is if you can’t find one, create one. I hope you’re in your kitchen on this bluey Monday and are trying to come up with the perfect pairing of burgers and fries! P.S. The burger in the picture looks amazing! Who made you try the 'BEST burger'?

From a culinary perspective, a dish is made best in smaller quantities. Think about it, even when you make Maggi, it tastes better when you make 1 packet as compared to making 2 packets together. So this adds up perfectly!
