🎓 I Cracked UPSC with Just 5-6 Hours of Study a Day! At 21.5 years old, I cracked the UPSC exam on my first attempt, despite not being well-versed in English. Sounds impossible? Let me take you back to my unconventional Civil Service preparation journey. 🔹 Short, Focused Study Sessions: I committed to 5-6 hours of study each day, broken into 1:30-2 hour slots with breaks in between. This allowed me to absorb information effectively. 🔹 8-10 Hours of Study Was a Headache: Almost all UPSC aspirants study 8-10 hours a day. I tried that too, but whenever I studied 8-10 hours a day, I would get a headache and couldn't study for the next 1-2 days. 🔹 Refreshing Breaks: After each study slot, I'd take a nap, go for a walk, or simply roam around. These activities kept my mind fresh and free from clutter, helping me retain information better. 🔹 Calm and Confident Approach: This method not only helped me stay calm but also boosted my confidence. I wasn't drained or overwhelmed; I was ready and focused. 5-6 hours a day worked wonders for me! 🌟 I firmly believe that simply studying for 8-10 hours a day won't guarantee success in the UPSC exam. Effective learning and retention are crucial because the UPSC exam isn't about rote memorization; it's about truly understanding the topics. There's no one-size-fits-all approach. Find what works for you, even if it's not the usual method.
