This month, we had the honour of interviewing Squadron Leader Kate Yaxley, an accomplished engineer and STEM professional within the Cyber Domain. Kate contributes to capability management for Joint Capabilities Group in the Australian Defence Force, bringing her technical expertise within electromagnetic spectrum operations and electronic warfare operational support to inform future integrated capabilities.  Kate is a 20 year Royal Australian Air Force veteran, beginning her career as an Avionics Technician before commissioning as an Electronics Engineering officer.
