LYRIC: When I'm out walking I strut my stuff. NOTE: I completely forgot about the content of the filmclip. Walking is a simple, yet highly effective form of exercise that offers numerous health benefits. Unlike more intense workouts, walking is accessible to almost everyone, regardless of age or fitness level, so it really is an excellent way to maintain overall health and well-being. While exercise is great your mental health also significantly benefits from regular walking. It is known to reduce symptoms of anxiety and depression, improve mood, and enhance overall mental well-being. Walking outdoors, in particular, exposes individuals to nature and sunlight, which can elevate mood and reduce stress levels. Incorporating walking into daily routines is relatively easy and requires no special equipment. Whether it’s a brisk 30-minute walk during lunch breaks, a stroll in the park, or opting for stairs over elevators, these small steps all help your mental clarity as well as your overall physical health. Walking is a versatile, low-impact exercise with far-reaching physical and mental health benefits. So whether it's an amble, a plod a stride or a strut....get out there and go for a walk. It's good for you. Today's song at: https://lnkd.in/gh_7ysha

#voicetraining #speakloud #femalevoice “Speak up, I can't hear you!” - comes a voice from somewhere far away. The speaker is confused. She is already talking at her last breath, trying to speak so that she can be heard, but the voice protests. She coughs, mentally begging the voice to get stronger..... This situation is described by many women when they come to my trainings: How to make the voice strong? How to learn to speak loud not only for the first 10 minutes, but for an hour or even longer. 📌 The secret to a strong female voice is trained pelvic floor muscles. They are the ones responsible for the strength and stamina of the voice. Why can opera singers sing so loudly for hours? Because the pelvic floor muscles are trained. In the new video HOW TO MAKE YOUR VOICE POWERFUL, I explain why you need to train the pelvic floor and show you an exercise that will help women to own their voice at a high level. 👉🏻 Next week, on the 10th of October at 7 in the EWA Frauenzentrum (Prenzlauer Allee 6, Berlin) I give a voice training for women. Mental Health Month - Free Tips, Resources, and Providers - Dance Like a Chicken Day Yes, that's a real day, go figure! Dance Like a Chicken Day isn't just a silly excuse to strut around like our feathered friends; it's also a fantastic way to boost our mental wellness through movement. Studies have shown that dancing, regardless of skill level, can have a positive impact on mental health. When we dance, our brains release endorphins, those magical chemicals that make us feel happier and more relaxed. So, whether you're doing the funky chicken or busting out some chicken-inspired twirls, you're giving your mood a healthy dose of uplift. But it doesn't stop there! Movement, like the flapping and waddling of a chicken dance, can also help reduce stress and anxiety. When we're caught up in the motions of dancing, our minds are temporarily freed from worry and tension. Plus, the social aspect of dancing with friends or family can strengthen bonds and create cherished memories. 🌍👂 From Eco-Conscious to Ear-Conscious: Protect Our Planet and Our Hearing! 👂🌍 Just as we care for our environment, let's extend that mindfulness to protecting our children’s hearing. Here's how these two important causes connect: 🌱 Teach Sustainable Choices - Educate your children about reducing waste and pollution, and tie it to minimizing noise pollution. Explain how both contribute to a healthier planet and a healthier self. 🌱 Set an Example - Demonstrate the importance of hearing health by practicing and discussing responsible listening habits. By teaching our teens to make sound choices, we not only protect their hearing but also contribute to a quieter, less polluted world. Let’s ensure they can enjoy the beauty of natural sounds for years to come! 🌟 #breakthesoundbarrier #hearingscreening #patientcenteredcare #audiologist #iCAN #IndependentConnectedAudiologyNetwork
