For some reason, most humans take the path of least resistance without understanding the terrible outcomes it always produces. Listen to this short by Joe Rogan. When you're graduating from college, it's usually a time in life when you don't have a lot of responsibilities. Most likely, you don't have a spouse, a mortgage, or kids. You may have rent and a car payment, but you most likely have one of the best Plan B options: your childhood room at your parent’s house. You have a place to recover if things go sideways on the path I call Against the Grain. But all we can think about is keeping up with the Joneses and comparing salaries and job titles as we enter the workforce. Why? Because our world of excessive consumerism needs every worker bee it can develop to keep the machine of quarterly profits growing on the New York Stock Exchange. How do you eliminate the Sunday Scaries? You must break through the threshold of your comfort zone! Eliminating the Sunday Scaries starts with expanding what you’re comfortable being uncomfortable with. It’s on the other side of comfort where the deepest levels of achievement and fulfillment are found. Think about your everyday life. Think about skiing. When you started, the bunny slope was an incredible challenge. After a fair amount of practice, you probably became comfortable with the green or blue slopes. But one day, your friends talk you into trying a black diamond. It looks like you’re going to die, but you use the skills you have and slowly carve your way to the bottom without any broken bones. You’ve carved a new path, one you haven’t done before. Suddenly, your skill level jumps up, and black diamonds aren't so scary. The same can be applied to your career. Crossing the threshold of your comfort zone is about personal expansion. It’s about opening up to MORE. Please watch the following video and open your mind to being more uncomfortable. Day 12 of “Fire Lighters” by Lew Caralla Wrong People vs. Right Things. “It’s amazing when the wrong people leave your life, the right things start to happen,” -Zig Ziglar You can be a hard worker with a great heart deep down, but you’ll always be labeled by the people you surround yourself with. If you’re riding in the car with three people that have drugs in their possessions, you are most likely going to jail with them when you get stopped by the cops. Now take the flip side. If you hang out with great people that stay out of trouble and work really hard chances are that you’ll be doing the same. Stop hanging out with people that risk your future. Stop taking advice from people that are average and negative. Stop putting yourself in situations that you don’t feel comfortable being in.  The biggest fear I have for my kids are the friends they surround themselves with. Your friends dictate your habits and your habits dictate your life. Your close circle dictates how far you can go in life. If the people you surround yourself with expand your vision and align with your beliefs, keep them. Don’t take them for granted. But if they shrink your vision and don’t align with your beliefs, it's time to separate, or you’ll head down a path you weren't made for. When the wrong people leave, the right things will happen. Remember this today 👇🏻 The problem won't go away if you keep ignoring it. You won’t change your life if you keep avoiding the mistakes you’ve made. Shame is one hell of a roadblock in life, because we will do everything in our power to distance ourselves from it. But by doing that, The lessons never get learned. And the mistakes continue to repeat themselves. By refusing to acknowledge where you maybe messed up, You’re preventing any form of self-awareness from happening. And without self-awareness,  There can be no self-improvement. And without self-improvement, There can be no fulfillment. So if you want to go on the journey and figure out who you are, What you want, And how to live your life with peace and purpose, Then you need to stop hiding in shame,  And you need to confront your issues. The only way to get through something is to get through it. So turn around,  Face whatever it is that’s holding you back,  And deal with it.  

#newdaynewchapter First of all remember that you don’t have to explain anything to anyone. It’s their thirst for information that they don’t have any right to expect that makes them target you in the hope that you’ll defend yourself & give them what they want that’s the problem. Those same people are the ones that lack the intelligence needed to judge themselves instead of others. They don’t like themselves which is why they look for faults in you, it makes them feel better about themselves but it’s all fake, everything about those people is fake. Don’t waste your time or effort proving anything to them & don’t allow their desperate attempts at finding faults in you make you question yourself. If you truly want to do something worthwhile, hold a mirror up to them & make them face the ugliness they have inside. Shame them with the truth so they think twice before targeting anyone else the way they’re targeting you. Ignoring them and making your own way. There is no point in thinking that you can change others. It is this idea that leads people to being what they despise. Its a temptation; while you look and label them proud, you are judging them and putting yourself above them. If you are not proud, are you humble? If you are, then you know, that only the Potter can mould His pot. All you can do, is commandeer your own life in the direction you wish. Look within and work on your flaws ,because believe me friend, you have your own. I’ve been mistreated my entire life so I know. But there will always be people like that and you just got to ignore and move on. Sometimes you have to defend yourself be it physically or verbally other times just let it slide because it's practically wasting your time. You should be able to discern when and what action is necessary in a given situation. Cheers!
