I know what you’re thinking: Passover takes days or even months to prepare, and the Seder itself lasts for hours. Maybe you’re thinking this is going to be a real challenge for only 30 seconds. While you probably have family and friends who spend days, weeks, or months getting ready for Passover, that prep is optional. You can certainly start preparing an elaborate Passover meal at any time, getting things ready, pre-cooking and putting stuff in the freezer. However, Passover is a holiday to celebrate freedom, with the Seder meal as a vehicle, not the goal. The word seder means “order.” It’s an ordered meal that reminds us of the value of freedom. That’s Passover in a nutshell. Often people get scared off because they think that the only way to observe the Passover is with some elaborate, boring, overwhelming meal. But a five-minute Seder is enough. Cut down on the preparation and simply invite family and friends over for a nice meal."
