I've learned a lot working with Emily Fedor and Lukas Nicolai. This video deserves more love. If you wanna see quality production in the Atlassian ecosystem, give it a watch. The app is pretty nifty too... Templating.app - Project & Issue Templates for Jira Cloud

Small things can have an impact 🎯 Action Items are now available for Jira (Cloud). It simply makes your life a lot easier if you do not want to create a new task for some small to-dos within the ticket you are working on. Creating separate tickets isn’t always the most efficient solution. That’s where the lightweight Action Items come in. You can create them within the description, comment, and other rich text fields. How it works: - Users can create an Action item by “/ action Item” in any rich text field (description, comment) - Users can create an Action item by “ [ ]” Obviously, there are additional (and more powerful) checklist Apps available at the Atlassian Marketplace that you should look at. 2 examples: Checklists for Jira (Pro) by HeroCoders or Smart Checklist for Jira (Pro) by TitanApps | Railsware. Overview Atlassian Cloud Documentation blog posts: https://lnkd.in/dKdRpSRB Latest Changes / release Notes: https://lnkd.in/dDrXDbfm Impressed by the numbers: - Atlassian Administration - 107 updates - Jira Platform - 101 updates - Jira - 62 updates - Jira Service Management - 45 updates #Atlassian #jira #atlassiancreator

It is interesting to see some of the native functionality develop within Jira tickets. Before marketplace apps users were forced down the route of subtasks if they wanted to have a good ability of tracking specific action items within an issue. Then came along a whole heap of checklist apps. Some we know how powerful they truly can be. But now we are seeing the development of native checklists. What do you prefer using? #jira #atlassian #atlassiancommunity #atlassiancreators #jiracloud #marketplace #ace

🔧 What's in my bag... Atlassian edition! 🚀 - #Jira (Cloud): If my day had a soundtrack, it would start with the "ping" of a Jira Cloud notification. As a #Kanban fanboy, I keep my work and my team’s tasks flowing smoothly on our boards. Every issue, every task—it’s all there, perfectly lined up. And the best part? Jira Cloud plays so nicely with Bitbucket that I can link commits, manage pull requests, and trigger automations from my workflows like a Jedi using the Force. Who needs a lightsaber when you’ve got Jira, right? - #Bitbucket (Cloud): Speaking of Jedi tools, Bitbucket Cloud is my trusty lightsaber (okay, last Star Wars reference, I promise). It’s where all our Git magic happens—version control, code reviews, CI/CD pipelines—you name it, Bitbucket’s got it covered. Plus, it syncs up with Jira so seamlessly that it's like they finish each other’s sentences. Bitbucket + Jira = Dynamic Duo of Development. - #Confluence (Cloud): Now, let’s talk about Confluence Cloud, the ultimate brain of the operation. This is where I store every bit of knowledge we’ve gathered. And when it comes to showing off our Visual Management apps for Jira Cloud, Confluence is our stage. With a little help from some cool plugins, we can present our documentation in a way that’s not just informative but also makes you go, "Whoa, that’s slick!" So, what's in your Atlassian bag? 🛠️ Drop a comment and let me know what tools keep your workflow on point. I’m curious! How to efficiently use JIRA and Confluence ? Confluence and Jira products are like bacon and eggs; coffee and cake; Simon and Garfunkel. Separately, they're great, but together, they're amazing! If you have both a Confluence and Jira product in your Cloud site, you can seamlessly track project updates across both tools and create Jira issues without leaving the Confluence page you're working on. How do you turn a complex Jira migration into a seamless transition? The “Lift & Shift” approach is one of the better options for simplifying Jira Cloud migration. Lift & Shift works in phases: ✅ Assess: Audit your current system for compliance, app compatibility, and user needs. ✅ Plan: Outline timelines, responsibilities, and Cloud Plan requirements. ✅ Prep: Prepare and clean data while testing app compatibility. ✅ Test: Identify issues during trial migrations to ensure success on launch day. ✅ Migrate: Execute the migration. ✅ Launch: Begin cloud operations with full adoption of native features. Would you like to learn more about the migration and what it offers JSM Cloud users after Atlassian’s update? Join our upcoming webinar to find out more: https://lnkd.in/dq_t6Jug

One of my favorite Confluence macro pairs are the "Page Properties" and "Page Properties Report" macros. They are so useful for helping teams to avoid duplicating the same content on multiple pages, which also improves content reliability and saves the team lots of time! What are some of your favorite Confluence macros? Note: If you have the Cloud version of Jira, you may want to explore even greater functionality for a single area to input repeated data/content by using Confluence Databases (https://lnkd.in/etNtTpP8)!
