Ladies, did you know that regular cervical cancer screening is super important? It helps catch high-risk HPV types like 16, 18, and lesser-known ones like HPV 31. These types can cause changes in our cells that, if left unchecked, might turn into cancer over time. Think of it like this: our cells can go from normal to slightly abnormal, then more abnormal, and finally cancerous. Regular screenings with Pap smears and HPV DNA tests can catch these changes early, before they have a chance to become something serious. The latter test is a lot easier today with a self sampling swab, very much like an ART kit. So, let’s spread the word and make sure we and our loved ones get screened regularly.
